Excellent Service Experience and Sales Followup I took a chance at getting a service done to my F150 while driving through town, with no appointment. The service staff was awesome enough to get me in immediately and get the required service done promptly, plus they found and fixed a few other things that needed attention (at no cost to me). I had a chance to catch up to Kyle (my sales person) and get some advice while waiting. Parts Department was great, Service Department is on top of their game, Sales staff attentive. Didn't miss a beat. More
My experience with Island Ford I have Ford vehicles from Island Ford and have had them serviced at Island Ford, even though there are other Ford dealers closer to my home. The service I receive is professional and courteous. I have always been advised of my vehicle status while I await in the clean customer lounge. My last visit, I dealt with Susie and she handled all my concerns, not only with my vehicle, but also dining and shopping recommendations. I would recommend Island Ford Service Department to anyone. Over the top customer service My vehicle had a recall for the master brake cylinder and the service department was very quick in ordering the part and scheduling an appointment to My vehicle had a recall for the master brake cylinder and the service department was very quick in ordering the part and scheduling an appointment to have it repaired. The shuttle service area has been extended further south in the Cowichan Valley which is very convenient and my appointment was scheduled at a time that ensured the shuttle service was operating. I once had a service done at Glen Oak Ford in Langford and they do not provide a shuttle service anywhere and I was stuck there while my vehicle was in the shop and the service department in Langford was not very helpful, friendly or efficient. I have found the staff at Island Ford know their customers by name and even though the service department is extremely busy, they always acknowledge people as they enter. While I was in picking up my vehicle, the manager, Justin, and Trevor, in service, went above and beyond to make this visit memorable. Trevor's willingness to follow through on an inquiry and Justin's generosity were completely unexpected and made my week!! Their actions solidified our commitment to this dealership. More
Steve Marshall "Can't Hold a candle" to Island Ford Duncan! I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to have a new clutch installed on my 2014 Focus which I purchased new from Steve Marshall Ford in I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to have a new clutch installed on my 2014 Focus which I purchased new from Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo when I was a resident there back in 2014. After moving to Duncan this past April, I simply had to have my car looked at because very time I would pull away from a stop or climb a hill the car would jerk and slip as if there was a transmission problem. It wasn't until dropped by Island Ford for an oil change that I asked the service department about the problem I was having with the car and they quickly jumped on the issue to check things out. They further told me after checking my serial number on the vehicle that Ford was having some automatic transmission clutch problems on certain 2014 Ford Fiesta and Focus models and my car was in the range of models that were affected. Not to worry Service Manager, Derren Jesson said, you only have 22K on the car and it would be covered under the warranty. Bottom line here is that the whole service crew were fabulous starting right with the service writer Sue Irvine, the shuttle service driver, right up to Mr. Derren Jesson, Service Manager, who was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely understanding and courteous I might add. Derren, the service manager even went out with me and test drove the car to properly diagnose the issue I was experiencing. There is no doubt that Island Ford is a "First Class" Ford operation with a pleasant atmosphere, top notch employees who really care about their customers. I have bought a few new Ford vehicles now in the past from the competition in Nanaimo where I used to live and never got close to the quality of service I got from Island Ford All I can say is that Mr Pambrun is very lucky to have people like Derren Jesson under his employ because without them he'd have no successful dealership.
