My truck broke down on me and I couldn't afford to fix it and I had 0 credit . witch was horrible considering it is my work truck and without it I don't work. Masood Abdul and the rest of the staff worked with me to make a deal where they fixed my truck on a payment plan and then managed to get me approved for a auto loan where I was able to buy a car to start building credit :) I have never dealt with a business so understanding and helpful without them I would have been without a job. It wasn't like dealing with a business it was more like dealing with friends if I had to give them a rating it would be a 110 out of 100 ! Thank Guys !!!!! More

It all went so smoothly and painlessly. I traded in my Chevy Cavalier and bought a newer Pontiac Vibe that only had 36000 km on it and looked brand new. It all went so smoothly. While I too I traded in my Chevy Cavalier and bought a newer Pontiac Vibe that only had 36000 km on it and looked brand new. It all went so smoothly. While I took a test drive of the car that I eventually bought, others checked out my trade in and others checked out my credit rating for financing the newer car. I put a deposit on the car while I had to do business in Victoria and when I got back we finished all the paper work and I drove away in my newer car. They promised to fix the mirror on the car and the radio (they swapped out the old radio for a new, better one) and put in a floor mat that was missing and they did paint protection and fabric protection on the car in a timely manner. They were all very friendly and professional and I would recommend this dealership for anyone buying a car in the Cowichan Valley. And you've got to see Darren's amazing card tricks. They were all actually fun to be around. More

Not concerned about putting customers lives at risk Purchased our used Equinox in April 2014 with the detailing package and extended warranty. My first hint should have been the detailing as after we a Purchased our used Equinox in April 2014 with the detailing package and extended warranty. My first hint should have been the detailing as after we arrived home i found dust and hair in the pockets behind seats and other places. I didn't report it at it seemed minor at the time. I was told at the time of sale if I brought my car back to Duncan from Victoria for warranty work, the deductible would be $100 rather than $200. So in December I had issues with the car and took it in for servicing, my issues were the engine revving on its own out of the blue, sluggish and hopping in reverse, plus the steering wheel made a rubbing sound. . I was told the engine seemed fine but it was the transmission. They confirmed they felt the hopping. Their tech wouldn't be able to see it, so I had to return next week so back to Victoria I go. 5 days later, Willy picked up my car in Victoria and drove it up for me. I get a call that the tranny just needed an update and was fine now but the steering would need a part from the mainland. They brought me a loaner. New years eve they call and tell me i can get my car now, but the warranty company refuses to fix the steering because its not broken, just noisy so its not covered. I get my car back on the 2nd of January and then get charged $260 for basically nothing but looking at it and an update and the cost to replace a broken oil cap that is on order.5 days later, I'm driving and the car starts revving and I can barely get it up to 30km/hr. I take it to Jenner in town and guess what? The tranny is toast!! I end up needing a new transmission as to repair it would be $8000. This time I'm out of pocket $640, because I now have the $200 deductible, pay $85 freight to get the parts in faster, as the warranty only covers 5 days rental, and since it was so extensive a repair, I ended up paying extra rental over the 5 days anyway and a bunch of parts not covered by warranty. I spoke to mechanic friends of mine who say this could have been far worse had it blown on the highway. I wrote to Baljet and their first solution?? Their salesman tries to sell me a new car!!! Seriously??? After over 3 weeks and 2 emails I finally get some compensation for the trouble- a $150 credit at their service station. Oh and finally my oil cap back, (they delivered it but couldn't get the old one off) Willy says he has been told what to do to remove the broken piece, he's not a mechanic, I said no thanks, I will get it done properly so I had to drive up to Duncan to replace it. Needless to say I'm still not confident in this service station. Perhaps a cheque would mean more, as I'm sure they don't expect me back. Oh and yes, MY STEERING WHEEL IS GETTING WORSE, HOPE IT DOESN'T BREAK WHILE I DRIVE IT!!! Please for your safety sake, stay away from this service department. More

Pleasant Experience We were searching for a specific truck up and down the island with the proper axle ratio for our towing needs. We found it on a late Saturday evening We were searching for a specific truck up and down the island with the proper axle ratio for our towing needs. We found it on a late Saturday evening with the help of Dave Paquette on Baljet's lot. Next morning the internet service was spot on. Michael Iorio has prepared the truck for us for a test-drive so by the time we arrived from Victoria everything was ready. The sales process was smooth, we appreciated Masood Abdul sales manager's intelligent easy going approach. After finalizing the sales there was one outstanding issue to deal with and Michael was excellent following up on it. Collin made the paperwork fun. Hassle free, good experience. Excellent, Knowledgeable, and Very Friendly Staff In my search for a New or used vehicle to replace out old pickup truck, and get into a family friendly vehicle with a baby on the way, the staff at Ba In my search for a New or used vehicle to replace out old pickup truck, and get into a family friendly vehicle with a baby on the way, the staff at Baljet GM were more than helpful, our Sales guy Dave Paquette was more than willing to take us around and show us vehicles, while we tried our car seat in 3 or 4 different used and new models, test drove them to see what met our needs and in the end we chose our new 2014 Chevy spark that was on clearance as last years model, but NEW not used and at a great price. The financing team made it work for us, especially Rob Eastman, who sat with us and worked out a plan that worked for us financially, but wasn't lacking in warranty or options. I will definitely be coming back to Baljet the next time we need a vehicle, or if the time comes to upgrade our lovely little Sonic to something bigger if that time ever comes. More
