Unbelievably helpful, got me out of a pinch I was on my way to Nanaimo coming from Victoria and noticed there was something seriously wrong with my car. Darryl in the service department was absolutely phenomenal - he got me in right away even though the service department was slammed and gave me a very fair price on the service at the end of it. Moreover the service waiting room had hot coffee, air conditioning and was spotless! Jake the technician, went above and beyond to help me by squeezing me in between appointments and took time off his lunch break to diagnose the problem. It was my first time here and I will always recommend ISLAND GM to friends, and I'll be back. Thanks guys for getting me back on the road- I owe you one! More

They don't care about you just the sale. Don't fall for the "we have buyers for your vehicle" BS. All they want is you and your credit score in the dealership to sell you another vech. They wanted to see my vech so I told them to go have a look and get back to me, it sat for 7 days 5 min away waiting from them while I was out of town and they never came by they where Too busy apparently. Just remember Island GM you called me not the other way around and you did nothing but want my SIN number. In 17 years I have bought 5 vechs from you. After this experience I am done with your dealership. More

Overall - an excellent experience The team has a great dynamic. I contacted Island GM about options to trade-in a leased vehicle that I got from them 3 years ago. Due to my family size The team has a great dynamic. I contacted Island GM about options to trade-in a leased vehicle that I got from them 3 years ago. Due to my family size increase, I have been looking from to get a van, more specifically a Honda Odyssey. I've had experience with Honda Odyssey so it is my preference when it comes to size and comfort. Initially it was just an email communication with Jeremy Truong and nothing matched my checklist. A couple months went by, I am needing a van on a urgent basis. (less than 2 months). I phoned Island GM because I got a buyout offer from Victoria's Campus Honda but I am not happy with their offer. Jeremy answered my call and he immediately remembered that I was the one looking for a Honda Odyssey then he told me that he just took a Honda Odyssey in. We went up one weekend and discussed the details of buying out the leased vehicle with Terry who was my previous co-worker. He took care of us. He talked to the manager for us so they were able to match Honda's offer. They gave us some discounts on the Honda Odyssey to compensate the portion that we pay for the buyout. They also promised to fix up the car for us. When the car physically arrived at the dealership, Terry took photos (exterior and interior) and sent them to me. Alexia was our finance advisor. She's the pro! She answered all the financial questions that we had prepared and explained what each warranty covers. Jaclyn took me for test driving on the Honda Odyssey, demonstrated what the car can do (a lot of functions). I've noticed a few exterior paint chip and dents and Terry/Jackie said they will take care of me, which they did without knowing how much it would cost them first. They covered all the repair bills. They purchased another key fob for me because I was only given one set of keys. Darryl was the service guy and he was nice and knowledgeable. During this whole ordeal, my three children were running around but the Island GM team would provide drinks and balloons to keep them happy. Overall, I think this is a great experience. Knowing that we are from Victoria so they do their best to limit the number of trips for us. The feeling that "they will take good care of me" is really reassuring. Highly recommended!!!! He took the reins on our situation and also contributed to making a potential bad situation good. The car bought by my daughter had several issues within its first months after purchase.
