Dreams came true! I contaced Island GM through their website on December 28th after having a HORRIBLE time with another dealership. It wasn't even 15 minutes after I hit "send" that Robert phoned me. We had a solid half hour conversation where he reminded ME that we had met almost a year earlier when I had popped into the show room to get some brochures on trucks and SUVs. (I admit, I thought he was just trying to make a connection, but when I looked at the brochures and saw his card, I knew he was being honest.) We chatted via phone and email and started the application process to see if I would be approved for my dream truck. Due to my credit issues, which we knew up front, this process seemed to drag on FOREVER... but Robert didn't give up! He would check in with me from time to time to make sure things were progressing and FINALLY the bank said YES! I went down to see him and test drove a BEAUTIFUL truck! Although it wasn't exactly what I wanted, financing issues determined it was the absolute best that I could get. Robert listened to my concerns about the things this truck was lacking, and gave me advice based on what was right for ME and not to just make a sale. By the end of the visit I had decided to go ahead with the purchase.... BUT then there was a snafu with the financing. It was NOT due to anything on the dealership's part... it was all the bank... and I headed home, sad, but still knowing I would return to this dealership. BUT ROBERT DID NOT GIVE UP! I sent more paperwork to the bank, and he and other members of the team (Chris and Kim) contacted the bank on my behalf.... got the bank to call ME and confirm some things... and less than 4 days later, I had my approval. 22 days after our first contact, I drove across to pick up my new (to me) baby!!! ON TOP of all his efforts, there were so many added bonuses that they just threw in for me! I was happy just showing up to get my truck and wasn't expecting anything else! But, he went above and beyond AGAIN. They advertise that they will pay the ferry or flight if you buy a vehicle... and there was NO hesitation for that. Even before purchasing my truck, I had sent a friend to Robert because I knew he could help her get out of her unreliable crappy car... and he did! I will NOT hesitate to send everyone I know in the market for a vehicle to this dealership. They truly care about the customer... and will treat you like family. There is no double talk... or trying to talk you into something you don't really want. They listen, they give advice, and they HELP. Thank you Island GM, Robert, Kim, Chris, Masood, and all the rest, for making my dream come true... within my budget! I'm only sorry I won't be back to purchase again for a while! You guys got it right on the first try! (And Masood... I'm sorry for my initial reaction on that Monday. It wasn't you, it was the xxxx bank... and I feel bad you had to be the one to deliver the blow. But, thank you for caring... and for being so awesome!) More

I got a great vehicle at a fair price and was treated with respect every step of the way. My first service on this truck took place on Feb. 12, 2017 and I let Island Chevrolet take care of it. It was simple: oil change, check all fluids, check the air filter, rotate the tires. That is exactly what they did, that is exactly what I paid for. They also gave me a report on the condition of my battery, charging system and starter. Then they washed my truck. I purchased a small 4x4 because I like to worm my way deep into the back country, where access is very limited. It is crucial that I can trust my vehicle to not only get in there, but get back out as well. This kind of confidence begins with a quality vehicle, and is upheld with a qualified maintenance program and team. I believe that is what I have here. They gave me exactly what I wanted in a vehicle, the budget was perfect and I walked out of there satisfied. They're all very calming and friendly , GM is very welcoming. The staff members make sure they meet your goals as most as possible when looking for a new/used vehicle. My experience there was great and I highly recommend Island GM. Thanks GM for everything !! Service sucks. Not enough mechanical staff. One canceled appointment. Another one was suppose to be first in line on a sat morning then was told 2.5 hours before they could look at it. And ill I wanted was my speakers working in a stock 2008 Chevrolet pick up. Which both times they said they would need more time to diagnose the problem and that they didn't have time that day. I asked if someone could get in touch with me and left my phone number. And never herd anything back. Not very happy with the service at all. More
