Worst experience with a dealer service department yet Truck was there for almost 2 weeks for a warranty repair that other dealerships/mechanics tell me should've been 2-3 days. At first I was told no loaner/rental vehicle was available. Near the end a comment was made after I complained about the third delay....."oh I probably could've got you a rental vehicle covered under warranty" I will never be back to this dealer for any work. I'd sooner pay double the towing bill. When my truck broke down it had a full tank of fuel...upon pickup it was completely empty. Yes I understand it was a fuel related issue, but why should the customer be out of pocket $150 for a faulty GM part on a fairly new vehicle. More

Satisfied purchaser of a Suburban from the Mainland I found the Suburban I wanted on GM"s website. It turns out that Island Chevrolet had it. I had previously negotiated with a local Mainland dealersh I found the Suburban I wanted on GM"s website. It turns out that Island Chevrolet had it. I had previously negotiated with a local Mainland dealership for the purchase of a different Suburban but that deal fell through. I thought I should probably give that dealership the business. However, that dealer's price seemed too high. I therefore contacted Island Chevrolet directly. Without much haggling, they provided a better price and, frankly, much better service.
