The funny thing was the truck I was originally looking at was a 2016 and the one I bought was 2018. I would highly recommend Island GM and if you go , ask for Cowboy Jim. He will explain. Worst experience with a dealer service department yet Truck was there for almost 2 weeks for a warranty repair that other dealerships/mechanics tell me should've been 2-3 days. At first I was told no loaner/rental vehicle was available. Near the end a comment was made after I complained about the third delay....."oh I probably could've got you a rental vehicle covered under warranty" I will never be back to this dealer for any work. I'd sooner pay double the towing bill. When my truck broke down it had a full tank of fuel...upon pickup it was completely empty. Yes I understand it was a fuel related issue, but why should the customer be out of pocket $150 for a faulty GM part on a fairly new vehicle. More
