I was there for over three hours but they could not find me a car which was decent! To top it all off, the manager, who was a grumpy old lady, showed up and said “ there’s nothing wrong with a car that has had a collision “. Don’t waste your time 1.over-priced cars 2. We had placed an order for a 2020 Civic Type R back in June. The dealer was nice but unfortunately, the joy ended there. We’ve contacted the dealer every month for an update but they kept telling us to wa June. The dealer was nice but unfortunately, the joy ended there. We’ve contacted the dealer every month for an update but they kept telling us to wait. Last month, we had contacted Honda Canada directly for an update and found out that allocation of 2020 models had been completed back in September but the dealer kept on telling us to wait. That made it clear that the dealer had failed to check their orders diligently as we expected they would. More

Went for an oil change, left with $1200 dipstick quote I went into the Sisley Honda dealership with my 2017 Ridgeline (50K km), still under warranty, and also purchased the Honda Plus Extended Warranty at I went into the Sisley Honda dealership with my 2017 Ridgeline (50K km), still under warranty, and also purchased the Honda Plus Extended Warranty at the time of delivery. It has been serviced at Honda dealers for every scheduled maintenance. The "mechanic" couldn't get the dipstick out, and in my opinion, there are clear signs of the use of vice grips or other "grabbing" tools on the dipstick handle. A few hours into the oil change I receive a text with a photo of the stick sheared off at the tube. They claim that it was a part failure, not covered under warranty, and to boot, they have to replace the full tube assembly which requires 4.5 hours (removal of the exhaust manifold, etc) @ $1200+ in parts and labour. Honda head office confirms that this part isn't covered under warranty. Blood boiling, I took it to a reputable Honda dealer. They had it out within 5 minutes with very little effort. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Besides shirking any responsibility for their error they were also unsympathetic and terse. I will never return to this dealership again. TLDR; dealer oil change, hack broked the dipstick, tried to fleece me for $1200 More
Sometime in Oct 2019, I visited the above dealership to buy a vehicle (2015 Honda CRV) a replacement for my total loss sienna. The financial manager Brian Yu took advantage of me, he forced an extended war buy a vehicle (2015 Honda CRV) a replacement for my total loss sienna. The financial manager Brian Yu took advantage of me, he forced an extended warranty value about $3000 on me that I don't really need, he told me no bank would approve me a loan without such warranty, considering the fact that am new in the country and without any credit history, he show me his computer screen that RBC will approved the loan among all other lender only if i get the warranty, I am a family man with 3 children, new in the country and we were in a desperate need for a vehicle for work and school for the children so I had no choice but reluctantly signed off on the warranty just to have the loan approved as he claimed. Completed the transaction, moved on, car is good no problem what so ever, but everyday my mind kept going back to how 3k was added to the cost the purchase. Last week i call RBC to changed payment option on account, was National bank to switch to CIBC and in the course of our conversation it crossed my mind to clarify my curiosity about the warranty, to my surprise the RBC rep made it clear that my car loan approval wasn't contingent upon any warranty, I got approved because I met the income requirements and they actually offer new comer auto loan programs. I felt robbed at gun point, cheated and I have been having sleepness night ever since then, 3k is a lot of money for me. I couldn't believe such a big dealership could allow such behavior and who's knows how many customer had fell into similar trap. Been talking to everyone about my ordeal and I hope someone could advice on legal action i could pursue stop such and other people don't fall into this kind of trap. More
