Had my Tacoma TRD pro just recently serviced, and winter tire swap completed at same time. Sam my service advisor was excellent and the service was completed on time. Horrible maintenance service. I don't believe in taking my vehicle into a dealer for servicing, but had gotten such good service, when nobody else could figure out the problem with my '89 celica so I thoug my vehicle into a dealer for servicing, but had gotten such good service, when nobody else could figure out the problem with my '89 celica so I thought times had changed. I bought a new celica at Heninger (excellent service on the sales front) and started taking it in for service over 13 years. I've had small hiccups throughout the years with the service department, but kept going back thinking they're the "toyota experts". I finally had my fill when they broke my center cap trying to take my tire off. When I questioned it, the service rep (Steve V) gave me some unbelievable excuse as to why it happened. Clearly he thought I was an incompetent idiot. When I pointed out that's not how you get to the lug nuts, he just stared at me blankly and then took me to the parts desk to get a quote for what I would have to pay to replace the part they broke. Eventually (2 years later) I did order the part that Steve claimed you can get on its own (you can't). When the part arrived, it was the wrong part. At that point, somebody finally admitted that it's a solid piece and you can't order it separately. So instead of the $28 piece that Heninger claimed (falsely) that I could get, and was begrudgingly willing to suck up the cost on, I would have to buy the entire piece for $70. Never was I offered a replacement part, free of charge, due to their incompetence (not the first time BTW). Instead I was treated like an idiot and then wasted my time running after parts that don't actually exist. If a toyota "expert" can't even figure out how to get to my lug nuts, for my specific make, It makes me wonder how much expertise they have when it comes to actually maintaining my toyota. I can get this kind of service for a fraction of the cost elsewhere. I haven't been back for service since the initial incident and won't even order parts from Heninger after this fiasco. More
Overall we had a good experience. Heninger prices competitively and Osman and Lee were really great to deal with. Car cleanliness upon initial visit was not ideal upon arrival, and was something of a competitively and Osman and Lee were really great to deal with. Osman was really good about meeting our needs, and helped with some of the logistics of getting the car which was really appreciated. Lee in the finance was really great, explained the process well and gave several options. Financing wasn't really a sticking point for me, however is someone was a first time car buyer would get well educated and taken care of by Lee. Overall a good experience, and really appreciated Lee and Osman's customer service. I rated the quality of work as a 3, due to cleanliness of the car upon arrival, it was dirty and the further cleaning held up the process a few days longer than what it should have, all that said Osman and Less made up for it with their work and customer service. I just want to tell you that Mr Bin Wu and Ms Elaine Zhu did a very good job in dealing and selling to me. Everything was well explained, they took care of us, and we did not have any problems dealing with them. I am very lucky that I met those two person when I purchase my car. If you let them leave Toyota or if they move to some other dealership other than Toyota you will lose a lot. I would recommend Heninger to anyone. By the way this is our first Toyota purpose and so far it was great. More
