A couple of years ago a buddy told me his troubles with henninger toyota and warned me not to do business with them. This spring of 2021 I put deposit on a truck at henninger I thought maybe his experience was one of. I took a chance and now I regret it. My advice is DO NOT BUY a car from this place. Just bought new truck and ordered custom tonneau cover for $2500 + tax. week later I asked them to confirm the order, model and ETA. For two weeks with many phone calls, text, emails and visit to the dealership, no one can find any information on my tonneau cover, not the sales guy, the finance guy nor parts guys. After three weeks was told I they had ordered $1200 model for me. This was how they tried to scam me. I cancelled the order right away and took me three weeks of hounding them to get my refund. Also, The finance guy convinced me to buy the total protection package for $1600 which included paint protection, Scotch guard interior, rust protection and undercoating protection. Yesterday my buddy was installing stereo system for me and he showed me the protection package he got for his new lexus from after market business. He wanted to compare dealer applications vs outside protection business. When he looked at the inside bottom of the doors and said there was no sign of any rust protection spay because the door drain would show a little residue from the spay. he looked at the bottom of the truck and was all bare metal, no undercoating was done, he tested the carpet with a little water and the water was absorbed likea sponge towel. there was no way to test the paint protection but we can assume they didn't do anything for that either. I had always been educated about these things but this time I caved because my existing toyota started to show some rust. they charged me $1600 for protection package and didn't do a xxxx thing. I'm in process of filing complaint with Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry council (AMVIC) to try to get my money back. Another scam is that they charged me $570 for paperwork. These guys are xxxx bags so don't take a chance like I did. More
Gave our vehicle to someone else. We placed a deposit to order 2021 Sienna Hybrid. After 4 months, sales person notified us vehicle has arrived and ready to pick up. Asked us to add accessories that we did not want to the final price. Very insistent we had to add all their suggested optional accessories. We refused. Next day the General Sales Manager called and said our vehicle belong to someone else on the wait list and he had no documents showing we ordered the vehicle even though we have copies of email with the sales agent and deposit receipt.
