First time buying from a dealer - pleasantly surprised I find many reviews on this website so amazing that I generally don't believe them. I have to say though, after owning more than a dozen cars in my li I find many reviews on this website so amazing that I generally don't believe them. I have to say though, after owning more than a dozen cars in my lifetime, I for the first time ever found myself negotiating with a sales advisor and actually buying a used vehicle. That's because first of all I am very familiar with Heninger, getting my vehicles serviced here over the years, and because I was in the market again for another Toyota, my favourite manufacturer. Eric Ngo let me test drive the vehicle I was interested in with out being in a rush or being pushy. I really liked it so made an offer, which he took to his manager and came back with a counter offer. A couple more back and forths (all by text, by the way, so it didn't take up much of my time) and we agreed on a price. When I went in to sign the paperwork, everything was exactly as discussed. Diane helped with the documents, very friendly. Eric drove me to the licensing office so I could get it registered. The vehicle was spotless when it was ready, it all seemed so easy that I will likely buy from them again if they have what I'm looking for then. I not only got a good price (bought early in January) but it was all no hassle. In the last, when I bought privately, I always ended up with a good vehicle but - I've had to make cheques payable to a bank or manufacturer's financing, I found a cigarette burn on one of the seats after buying it and removing the seat covers, there was often something 'extra' to deal with. My advice - do your research on what you want to buy, test drive one, make a reasonable offer, then you should be fine, it should be stress free, mire or less. I didn't have the complexity of using a trade-in or getting financing though. Thanks Eric for being a nice person to deal with. More

Professional Lots of reviews are very suspicious. they go on about how amazing so and so is and say "I recommend all my friends here,blah, blah, blah". Been getting my Toyotas serviced at Heninger's for 10 plus years. Service is professional. They have their 'dealer recommended' servicing which is much more comprehensive than the manufacturer's. They say it's because of Canadian winters and that manufacturers try to show as minimum as possible a maintenance schedule so they compare favourably on cost of ownership. Maybe that's true, maybe not. Wish I knew. More

He takes the extra steps to ensure I have a good experience and to ensure I am more than completely satisfied with the care of my vehicle and minimizing the cost to me at the same time. So much so that when he started working at Heninger, I followed him with my business to Heninger as well! The other staff are friendly and accommodating. My car and my wallet are in excellent caring hands!! More

We bought a Camry back in 2002 from Henninger Toyota and went back in 2007 with our daughter who was looking for a vehicle. The saleswoman who sold us the Camry was no longer with the dealership, and Peter Chen helped us with all the questions that we had on a Corolla. Our daughter did not make any purchase in the end but we were very impressed with Peter’s professionalism and have kept his business card. When we decided to buy a RAV4 this July, we went straight to Peter and he has been true to his reputation. Although he is now the Director of Finance and not a salesperson, he put together a very good deal for us in no time and introduced us to Dave Deng, a very good product advisor.
