BUYER BEWARE OF DODGE HARRIS - SCAMMERS - the dealership just backed out of our purchase sale agreement. This is after it was signed with a deposit made, and I left because the vehicle was still in the shop just backed out of our purchase sale agreement. This is after it was signed with a deposit made, and I left because the vehicle was still in the shop waiting for a part, for repair work identified in the inspection report. The next day I got a phone call and they wanted $1400 more, due to "unexpected costs" - all these costs they already knew while I was there and before I signed. On the invoice were charges for an oil change at $215, windshield wipers at $167, and other trumped up charges. I said i'm not paying that. They avoided me for a couple of days and then I got a call from Alex who said they are backing out. I said that's illegal. He basically said, "then sue us". His exact quote was, "Well do with that what you like then". Most likely they sold it to somebody else while it was under contract with me. Completely illegal. More
They did a complete brake job on my van. Almost two years later my brakes started to act up and they told me I needed a complete brake job. I said they'd done one less then two years ago and Almost two years later my brakes started to act up and they told me I needed a complete brake job. I said they'd done one less then two years ago and that, surely, a brake job should last more then two years given that the original brakes lasted a lot longer. The guy actually said " I'll make sure they use quality parts this time". Rip off artists. Don't go there for any work. More
My experience with my 2020 Jeep sounds very similar to that of Mr. Unhappy. Auxiliary battery was "under warranty" but not in stock for over a year. When they called me to bring my Jeep in for an oil ch that of Mr. Unhappy. Auxiliary battery was "under warranty" but not in stock for over a year. When they called me to bring my Jeep in for an oil change, I asked about the battery and was then told it was in stock. When I picked the vehicle up after paying for the oil change, the "new" auxiliary battery still didn't work. I had to bring it back a week or two later for repair.....again. The service department tried to charge me $90 to charge the battery. When I told him it was supposed to be under warranty and the dealership needed to absorb that, I was told I should take my business elsewhere in future. Of course that's exactly what I'll do.....after confronting him, his manager, and the GM of the dealership for the way in which they treat their loyal customers. Will never deal with them again. More
Needed a replacement battery for a 2020 Jeep, due to covid it took them well over a year to get the item in stock. Got a call from a sales lady saying I'm over due for a 16k peace of mind check, So I bo covid it took them well over a year to get the item in stock. Got a call from a sales lady saying I'm over due for a 16k peace of mind check, So I booked an appointment, I told the lady about the battery and then she told me they have them in stock and I could get it replaced under warranty. Done I am finally getting the battery installed. Show up on time on the date and time they gave me, Some dude in the engine bay told me sorry the battery is not in stock, He also told me it was 1 day over the warranty so they might not cover the cost for the replacement battery, He needed to talk to someone about it. So he took off inside, and was gone for a while, So I decided to go in and see where he took off too. I found him at the parts desk looking through a magazine and and shooting the #&@# with the service parts guy, I said hello to him and he directed me back to the service bay and told me he will be out shortly. I stopped on the way out and talked to a nice lady who told me that they should cover the battery, I went back to the back and he came back and told me i have bad news and good news for me, I was like ok what's the bad news and he told me they don't have the battery in stock, next bad news is that we need to reschedule your appointment as 2 guys called in sick, then told me that they would honor the warranty but I was lucky as it was 1 day out of warranty. What a joke! Skip ahead a week and a half as that was the earliest they could fit me in, I told them the vehicle all ready had an oil change in-between the time I was supposed to bring it in and it still have 26% on the oil meter. I was told it needed and so I just agreed but the good thing is the battery was getting installed. 4.5 hours later and a $220 dollar bill for a oil change I left with the mind set that I just got hosed by these shameless jerks willing to take advantage of anyone they could. An oil change at Jiffy lube takes 15 min and costs $120 all in. I get it they installed the battery but they gave me no updates on anything through out the entire process. The only real service I got is when they man told me I have to pay. Just like that they lost a customer and with their poor customer service and shady practices I will never darken their door again. The only reason I went to them in the first place is they are like 2 blocks from my house and it was totally coinvent, But now that I debt with them I would soon drive 200km to get a oil change from anyone else but them. Fool me once! More

Warning- Be aware of shady salesman! I wish I could write 0 zeros for this dealership. Ive worked with many dealerships and this is by far the worst customer service/business ive ever I wish I could write 0 zeros for this dealership. Ive worked with many dealerships and this is by far the worst customer service/business ive ever experienced. I hope you got time for a read. We bought a jeep back in June 2022. Our first negative experience was that our spare time as already used and had a plug in it. We reached out many times and never received a new one. The second time, we received an oil change that was quoted for 2-3 hours. They had our vehicle for TEN hours. Leaving my partner and I to miss a full day of work. Every time we call to speak to someone, we have to follow up many times to get a call back or arent even followed up with until the next day. The current situation is absolute xxxxxxxx. Our contract states “ You have the right to cancel any optional products or services of a continuing nature that you have agreed to obtain under this Contract, if any, by providing the service provider with 30 days prior written notice of your intent to cancel or such shorter period as provided in your contract for the optional products or services. If you choose to cancel any such optional products or services, you are entitled to a refund of any amount you have already paid for charges relating to any portion of this optional product or service that has not been provided.” We spent almost 9k on insurance that we have decided we wont need. Harris is denying to comply with this clause. They are claiming it needs to be canceled within 60 days of purchase. I understand that this is common for many dealerships. However, no where does our contract state this. We did not sign anything that stated it must be within 60 days. In fact, as mentioned, our contract contradicts that statement. Harris has a legal duty to disclose such information. Secondly, that clause should be in our contract, but it isnt. As you can see, Alex sent us an email with a screenshot of a small snippet in the supposed contract. You can see in ours, it does NOT state that. In addition, you can see clause k. We have called numerous times and emailed the director, Alex Tiginagas, and did not receive call backs. They will not provide us the original paper copy to prove we signed anything that states it must be canceled within 60 days. Instead, they provided us an electronic falsified contract which is completely different than the copy we have. The clauses and terms are different. The contract they sent us also has pages that are not even in our contract. They have not followed up with us after providing all of this information and have shown zero proof we signed a contract stating anything of this. Save yourself the hassle and shop for your car at another dealership. The management doesnt not care about you as the consumer and are only there to squeeze every penny out of you. On top of this the customer service is by far the worst in Canada More

So glad this dealership showed me their true colours before handing them over 75k. Over the moon happy with my Toyota Highlander Hybrid purchased from Jim Pattison Toyota. The following is why you, too, before handing them over 75k. Over the moon happy with my Toyota Highlander Hybrid purchased from Jim Pattison Toyota. The following is why you, too, might want to consider another dealership. My Harris Dodge story. After my 1st choice of salesperson I originally began to work with was no longer in sales, Issac, I met Max (Nassim) a bright energetic young man. During our introduction at his desk where he was explaining the company had two 4XE's in transit we began filling out paperwork. But then his phone began to ring...and ring...and ring...each time he glanced at the caller's name. Eventually he stated it was his manager. I told him to take the (very odd) call. When he hung up he stated he was being called to a meeting. I was left at his desk with the company paperwork that I said that would complete. It was my personal info related to trade-in etc. Because my husband was in the car waiting I completed it and left. I then received a text setting up the time to test drive a non-hybrid vehicle. A few hours later Alex called to confirm my test drive in the morning with Max. At no time did he or any other salesperson reveal to me or Max that there was any added "Dealer Option" charge. Let me repeat that...AT NO TIME DID ALEX REVEAL THERE WAS ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL DEALER OPTION CHARGES On 4XE's IN TRANSIT. And let me be clear there were at least 5 interactions where that could have been revealed. When I arrived back at your dealership the next morning for the 3rd time to discuss their new electric vehicles, I was approached by Andy that I mistook for Alex...who stated Max was not going to be in that day. Now let me be even clearer...not only did Max set up a meeting via text your Finance/General Manager(?) Alex had called me to reconfirm that meeting yet he was the one that CHANGED MAX'S shift so he would not be there for our meeting??? It explained why at least 2 other salespeople began converging on me to tell me Max was not going to be in. My anxiety kicked in and I went to the only person I trusted in your company to see if they could find out what the xxxx was going on. As a professional CPA/CGA auditor trained in forensic observation...I could see very disturbing behaviours taking place around me. When Max did keep our appointment the first thing he said is "the dealership took a deposit on that Summit 4XE last night, I'm sorry." (By the way, that was the vehicle that I was most interested in buying) and "that it was legal" before reluctantly stating...because I "had not left a deposit". Lesson learned there. I added..."it may be legal but it sure wasn't ethical". And who changed your shift?" He wouldn't say. I kept asking. Alex later confirmed he did that without following up with me as to why. If he could call to confirm, why couldn't he call me back to cancel/change my appointment? Max came in anyway. Being a good salesperson Max diverted my attention to a Trailhawk 4XE that was also in transit...quickly selling me on it. He printed out the specs/pricing. We went over them. He handed me an offer sheet which I initialed. Max took it to Graham. Let me add...I was not negotiating price. Cash sale. No trade-in. Now that interaction with Graham is one I will never forget. He threw out that the dealership was only getting a few electric vehicles and that they would be adding 20 thousand dollar charge for the dealership. I asked Max if he knew that. No response. I asked about the unethical treatment I received on the Summit. To quote Graham: "they had been dealing with a customer on that car for 6 months!!". (Yet the vehicle is online still but *now* with the added $20k.) My response to Graham was "it only took Max 45 min to sell me". I then stood up. Put my hand out. When Graham reached for it...I realized how I was being treated and even lied to and pulled it back I left with my offer in the Trailhawk and contacted VSABC. More
The Harris Dodge Dealership in Langford has tried to rip me off. They made a deal with me, we agreed on the numbers and I put a $5000 deposit down. They then called me back just before I was supposed to pic me off. They made a deal with me, we agreed on the numbers and I put a $5000 deposit down. They then called me back just before I was supposed to pick up the new vehicle stating they messed up and they were missing 4-5000 dollars on the overall deal. They wanted me to pay it or no deal. What a bunch of Crooks with a capital C. I hope people read this and stay clear of those crooks especially Veterans on a pension like myself. Shame on you Hunter, Tax and the rest of Harris Dodge in Langford More
