Brought my car in for a routine service and O2 sensor replacement on December 6, 2023. It’s now nearly March of 2024 and I STILL don’t have my car back. They messed up the fuel injectors as well as the t replacement on December 6, 2023. It’s now nearly March of 2024 and I STILL don’t have my car back. They messed up the fuel injectors as well as the turbo and have taken a ridiculous amount of time to get it sorted. Excuse after excuse from the service department. It took 7 weeks to even offer an apology. NEVER AGAIN Harris Mazda. Absolutely horrible experience. DO NOT let them try to fix your car. More
Took my 2014 Mazda CX5 in for check engine light. Needed a lot of work done fuel injectors etc. Aaron at the service Center was very helpful dealing with my extended warranty. He was able to get me a Needed a lot of work done fuel injectors etc. Aaron at the service Center was very helpful dealing with my extended warranty. He was able to get me a loaner car and kept me up to date with the process. Just got it back and it’s running like a dream! It was even washed and vacuumed! More
Sales team will trip over each other to sell you a car; however, that is where your good experience will end! Service Department and GM could care less if you have a bad experience. Dropped my vehicle off Monday morning, it was expected to be ready by Monday evening. I couldn’t pick up until Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday morning to let the staff know I wouldn’t be in until noon. Not be ready by Monday evening. I couldn’t pick up until Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday morning to let the staff know I wouldn’t be in until noon. Nothing was mentioned at that time that my car was not ready. I arranged for a ride into Nanaimo from out of town to find my car was not ready, it was still on the hoist. Communication was awful. I let the staff know I was unhappy about this, and I was told “we are short staffed” and “what do you want from us?” A half-assed “want lunch?” was offered. I was not contacted again until Wednesday afternoon. I managed to get a ride into Nanaimo again, picked up my car. They were able to take some money off the bill, I did appreciate that. As soon as I left and got to highway speeds, my car violently vibrated. I had to book another appointment and come back the next day. I missed work that evening due to these events. Also noticed the tint peeling in the back window I had mentioned was quite poorly “repaired”. I brought the car back Thursday morning (now a 4 day ordeal) and they were able to rebalance the tires which solved the vibrating, I mentioned now for the 3rd time about the peeling tint and it was AGAIN ignored. I cannot in good conscience recommend this service department to anyone. Quite unhappy with the service, communication, and outcome. More
Took my 2007 CX7 for key progamming which should take less than hour to do. So we went for a coffee, ten minutes later the service dept calls, the only call we ever recieved other than the call they made less than hour to do. To tell us it wasn't the keys after all but they still can't figure out whats wrong with my car. They've put 8 hrs trying to figure out why it won't start. I had enough of waiting on the same day they called I was already on my way there with a tow truck to get my car the xxxx out of there. When I showed, my car was outside, the hood was up, the interior was all moldy, they put big scratch in the door, It still wasn't running after eight hours of labor by the best Mazda mechanic in the North America so they claim. I was billed for a $500 for a key I never needed, programming the key and 8 hrs labor @ $130 an hour. I hadmy car towed from there to home, It took me less than an hour to figure out why it wouldn't start. It took a Mazda mechanic a month and he couldn't figure out what the issue was. The only reason I brought my car in there was to get the key programmed which only Mazda can do. It was the first and last time I will deal with Harris Mazda in Nanaimo. Absolutely the worst service I've ever dealt with More
Was told by Harris Mazda that for my next service new brakes were required. I looked into this claim with another service centre as I was sceptical. Glad I did. My brake pads are in great shape and DO brakes were required. I looked into this claim with another service centre as I was sceptical. Glad I did. My brake pads are in great shape and DO NOT need replacing. If you don’t get a warm and fuzzy feeling with the service this company provides when it comes to maintaining your car, trust yourself. My experience is that they cannot be trusted. More
Have always felt scammed by the service department.. Superstar Jason Ranks inspected and solved our headlight problem. He carefully replaced the bulb when other garages wanted to replaced the complete headlight assembly. MARVELOUS! problem.
