Having had a dealership in the past, I know how important it is to have the reputation of an honest, reliable and friendly business in the community. This only comes from the top, surrounded by staff who will compliment the everyday dealings of the company. I have noted happily, that after being a customer for nearly ten years, that this dealership is unique in it's self. It definitely is a "feel good" local business. I was fascinated by Tyler Lavin, the young delightful sales person who greeted us with a big smile and a warm handshake on the lot. I had been looking for a new vehicle but not particularly that day. I had come to have my Mazda serviced. I left the dealership with my son-in-law, my Van serviced and sparkly clean, and an agreement in hand on a new Mazda! There was no pressure to buy a car that day from Tyler. He was honest and fair, playing out various scenarios. He definitely would have been a wonderful asset to our dealership. I have never previously driven or owned a Mazda but the reviews were excellent for the new CX5 so I arranged a test drive. I was surprised when Adams let my friend and I take the new 2016 red CX5 out for a test drive without him. which gave us time to experience the way the car handled. Adams came with me on the second test drive and explained all the features of the car. I am now the proud owner of this CX5 and could not be happier with the whole sales experience. Adams was very friendly, patient, informative, professional and respectful of my concerns, which has not been the case in the past for me as a single female purchasing a vehicle. I am sure that the fact that he is paid salary and not straight commission takes the pressure off the sale process for both the buyer and the employee and I feel that I got the best deal possible. I would highly recommend Adams and I agree that he is a great asset to Harris Mazda. More

We already knew which car and features we wanted, and had built the car on Mazda's website, so we knew what the price would be (including all the taxes, PDI and other fees). We were taken on a nice long test drive, where Adams answered all of our questions and described the features of the vehicle. When we got back to the dealership, we built the car together on Mazda's site, he got his manager's signature, and that was it! I had another couple of questions over the next few days while we waited for our car to arrive from the mainland. These were answered almost immediately by Adams via text - very professional, and easy going. I would highly recommend Harris Mazda, and Adams Obakpee in particular. There were no Jedi mind tricks, hassles or other cheesy tactics experienced at other dealerships; just excellent, professional service by folks who really enjoy their jobs. More

Because of time differences we sometimes sent emails that were out of normal working hours for Tyler. He still responded or actioned whatever the email was about. Tyler has an excellent grasp of what customer service is all about and demonstates it very well. I hope Harris Mazda is paying him well because they would be doing themselves a gross injustice if he were poached by another dealership willing to pay more. He's worth every cent. More
