Welcoming, Attentive and Easy to do Business with I would call my assessment of Harris Mazda as one that is accurate and qualified since I own and operate multiple retail locations within in the Grea I would call my assessment of Harris Mazda as one that is accurate and qualified since I own and operate multiple retail locations within in the Greater Vancouver area. My review would parallel something similar as experienced at a restaurant. 1. Location environment – welcoming and comfortable 2. Service – focused, balanced and matched with the personality of the customer 3. Menu – quality vehicles that are priced realistically 4. Bill – again realistic without sales theatrics To give you three examples of “meh” service that was dished out to me while I was looking for a used vehicle. 1. Dealership 1 (unnamed Vancouver based ) – had a vehicle I was interested in, I had an industry price that I stuck to and finally negotiated a final offer that would see the difference split. There was no movement to my final offer in any direction and said vehicle is still on their lot. 2. Dealership 2 (unnamed Vancouver Island based ) – I reached out to this dealership and mentioned that since they are a branch of a large corporation and there would be a good chance that they would have what I was looking for. There was a vehicle located at one of their other dealerships lot, it was in the right range of both vintage and price. Well, I had three emails thanking me for considering them as dealership but nothing in terms of vehicles, I mean nothing. 3. Dealership 3 (unnamed Vancouver) – This dealership was pretty much the same as number 2. The difference being that I made repeated phone calls with no replies for a period of a week or so. Punch line, the sales manager at this location was a relative. But, back to Harris Mazda. These folks are absolutely the best to work with. Nowadays the vehicle shopping customer approaches vehicle sales purchase form a position of knowledge. There were no sales theatrics, I knew what the vehicle was worth, and we quickly came to an agreed price. In fact, I believe the process took less than thirty minutes including the test drive. In today's wasteland of vehicle shopping experience and service, Harris Mazda in my opinion, stands out head and shoulders above most other dealerships in top notch service and sales. Thoughtful and attentive sales people like Kass make the car buying process much less arduous than other dealers. Seriously, I’ve spent time in dealers before and this was easily the best experience. The dealership itself is quite nice, clean and accommodating. Night and day compared some other yucky dealers I’ve been in. Kass also went the extra mile to come get me to complete my purchase as I was coming from out of town. Follow up was great and I’d definitely buy from Kass and Harris Mazda again. Thanks Kass! More
