Jonathan was very helpful when I first called Mazda to inquire about a new Mazda 6 in Dec 2012. He was also quite knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. When I had finally made up my mind to purchase my new Mazda, I went in to Harris and Jon was there to guide me through the process and made it painless and pleasurable. I am delighted to give Jason this review not just because of this contest and this recent servicing but because of the one prior as well. With nothing to gain at that time I found him to have maintained a v of this contest and this recent servicing but because of the one prior as well. With nothing to gain at that time I found him to have maintained a very professional, curtious, helpful service which accomodated my quick request to have my tires checked and filled, in amongst a very busy morning. The situation was stressful with the immediate demands yet he was able to help me with my request. This current servicing I was just coming in to get my headlight replaced (without a appointment) and he was able to do so and fit me in for my schedule service all in time to pick up the children from school. Thomas does excellent mechanical work and is also very personable. He has a bright future with this company, as do all others in service. Dave is most personable, and makes it a super-enjoyable experience when he shuttles customers to and from the dealership. A great guy! Corey is always a great guy to talk to as well, and is very skilled and personable in dealing with staff and customers. This service visit was a good, positive experience. This was my first time buying a new car and Harris Mazda and everyone involved made it a wonderful experience! We love our new Mazda 3 Sport!! Jeff was very professional yet fun! The first person we saw and spoke to when we walked in the door was Jason Barth. He greated us by name in a very friendly manner and had us all set up for our regular Mazda 3 service appointment in no tim the door was Jason Barth. My husband asked him about a light in the Mazda truck which kept going on and off and Jason set out to look at it right away. He assessed the problem, checked our records, found it would be covered under warranty and booked the appointment for the following week. Both vehicles were serviced to our complete satisfaction. Jason is not only very efficient but personable and knowledgeable and makes the tedious (my opinion) job of having our vehicles serviced a more pleasant experience. I was "car shopping" on several lots, trying to decide to go for a new or used vehicle. My last two cars were Subaru Foresters but didn't really need something that big anymore. Jonathan was fairly new on the job but seemed quite knowledgeable and friendly and definitely "non pushy" - which as an older female, I really appreciated. We took a couple of cars out for a test drive, including the CX5 and the new Mazda 3. Then Jonathan pointed out three 2011 Mazda 3's on the lot and suggested they were excellent value for the money. Daniel, the sales manager, offered me what I considered a very fair price on my 2003 Subaru, as a trade, and we made a deal! Jeanette, the financial person, was a bit pushy about some of the options available - that is her job of course and she was very knowledgeable. When I made it clea, I was not interested, she backed right off. I am very pleased with the car, love the colour (copper red mica), and the way it handles. I had a zillion questions which Jonathan answered promptly and willingly, without making me feel "dumb" in any way. He has followed up a couple of times with phone calls to check my satisfaction with the car. I was in sales much of my working life and he has the "people skills" to do well in this industry. This is my first Mazda -- but I suspect it will not be my last. Next month I will get to experience the service department and will report back again then. . More
The wife & I went to two other Mazda dealerships on the Island before we ended up at Harris Nanaimo. Daniel Jones was truthful & helpfull. Yousef Assaf gave us a deal that the other dealerships were not willing to offer and he was very pleasent to deal with. John was our salesman who walked us thru all the exciting features our new Mazda had to offer. Finally, Janette made buying the new car so pleasantly pain free. She was so on the ball with the paper work, it was a breeze. The wife and I are so glad that we chose Harris Mazda and we will always come back More
We arrived at Harris Mazda to get at computer chip key cut and programmed,unaware that this service normally requires an appointment as it requires 15 to 20 minutes of the technicians time.The parts depar cut and programmed,unaware that this service normally requires an appointment as it requires 15 to 20 minutes of the technicians time.The parts department and service advisors,particularly Jason Barth dropped everything and sqeezed us in even though it was the technicians lunch break(sorry,I did'nt get your name) .Then, when the job was complete,Jason had my sons truck washed and vacuumed.Great service! More
