Customer service to Thomas (Tommy) is 120% - just the other day I couldn't get my Alberta licence plate off to replace it with my new BC plate so I popped in and he spent about 15 minutes doing this for other day I couldn't get my Alberta licence plate off to replace it with my new BC plate so I popped in and he spent about 15 minutes doing this for me AND it was not easy. He had to try 3 or 4 different ways to secure it properly. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you Tommy. I trust what he explains is to be done to my vehicle and he tells me why. Getting a new engine was a huge stressor but I knew it was going to be done properly. More

The short: Harris Mazda and its team of Jeffre, R.J. and Janette were wonderful to work with. They were very patient, accommodating, and really made me feel like a valued potential client rather than just a Janette were wonderful to work with. The exceeded my expectations and were able to get me into a better car than I had planned, for less than I thought I'd have to pay. I highly, highly, recommend Jeffre as your product advisor, RJ as your sales manager and Janette as your financial specialist. Zoom Zoom! The long: I started out looking for a used car on a small cash budget and after getting quite discouraged on what was available and how many dealerships were over charging for their used cars I started to look at buying newand financing a portion. I was a very nervous (first time) buyer who has heard all the horror stories of high pressure car salesmen and was quite concerned about whether anyone would even talk to me being young, female, and driving a friends beater car but when I made my first stop Harris Mazda they really helped change my opinion and feel comfortable on their lot. I didn't have much time, but Jeffre greeted me on the lot immediately when I started to wander, and after a few questions ascertained what I was looking for in a car then showed me what they had available. He offered to let me take it for a test drive immediately which I wasn't going to do because I was short on time but boy am I glad I did! The 2013 Mazda3 manual with SkyActiv drove like a dream, holding the corners and cruising on the highway. He was very understanding when I said I needed to talk the decision over with some family and that I wanted to go look at other vehicles and simply handed me his card allowing me to leave without feeling pressured into a purchase. I went and looked at the other vehicles and after deciding that Mazda's line was really what I wanted to get into I returned a couple days later with a friend and no advance warning and was greeted by Jon who, as soon as I told him I had been working with Jeffre and would like to test drive the car a second time went to work finding the car and brought it around for me to drive again since Jeffre had the day off. We took it for a second drive reconfirming that it was everything I wanted in a vehicle. I arrived the next day to discuss details with Jeffre and the sales team who, I think, were quite patient with me. I had done all my homework on what cars are worth, what markups are available, and what fees I should be paying and was quite prepared to discuss pricing. Jeffre was great to work with - he gave me all the information I asked for and after some insistence on my part for what dealership add-ons I was (and was not!) willing to pay for, we agreed on a potential number and I once again told him I would have to think on it. I'm sure he was dissappointed to have me leave again, but was very professional and did not try to pressure me into the decision. I shopped around with other dealerships throughout BC the following day and Harris Mazda was definitely the best priced and most forthcoming on pricing information than the other dealerships. We then discussed pricing some more over the phone and agreed that I would come in the following day if the numbers worked for me which I was uncertain of since their price was still a bit higher than I was comfortable with. First thing the next morning, before they were even open, I received an email from Jeffre telling me about this amazing pre-owned 2013 Mazda3 Sport with SkyActiv that R.J (one of the sales managers) just brought in the night before and mentioned that I now had two 'epic-options' to choose from. At end of the day, they managed to get me into a higher model Mazda3 than I was originally planning to purchase for less money than we had previously discussed, making the numbers work to a level I was comfortable with. Now that is amazing customer service! Throughout this transaction, Jeffre also respected all of my personal preferences contacting me via email rather than insisting on telephone and stayed late on more than one occasion to allow me to take as much time as I needed to feel confident about my purchase. I love my new 2013 Mazda3 Sport GS-SkyActiv with auto tip-tronic transmission and very happy they were able to find me this car. Jeffre, RJ, and Janette were all very patient when it came to finally signing the deal when I insisted on recalculating all of their numbers and reading all the fine print pages. I did find an error in the price on the initial worksheet on what RJ wanted me to commit to pay and what I was quoted that morning my Jeffre but RJ made no qualms about lowering the price to be less than the original quote to meet and exceed my expectations. Janette was very patient in helping me understand all of the terms and conditions I was signing, taking the time to explain to my satisfaction any aspect I was unclear on, never making me feel belittled or stupid for not knowing the technical loan jargon. She was also very patient in explaining all dollar values (which my excitement-induced sleep-deprived brain kept insisting were incorrect even though there was no error). My only suggestion for improvement: If you can, search your databases for other vehicle colour options immediately when requested. Every other dealership I had contact with over the phone was able to instantly search for my choice colour/model, telling me what they could and could not get (for added cost or not depending on location) within seconds where-as Harris Mazda seemed to require having someone in a different department/office do the search which meant more time spent on the buyers side waiting for information and potentially a loss of a sale if the other dealerships are faster on getting them their desired colour at no extra cost. Thank you Harris Mazda, I look forward to our continued business relationship in the future. More

Jonathan took care of me in purchasing a new Mazda. I ended up with the touring package as well as some accessories. I then met with Janette deVilla Dalisay and she was soooo patient and clear going over all the financing details. I even bought undercoating/interior cleaning and undercoating which I have NEVER done in all my years of purchasing new vehicles. Jonathan then went over the entire car's working functions again and had the sales team come outside to congratulate me and let me know that anytime I have any future questions Jonathan explained that they work as a team and anyone of them would be there to help me. They all waved at me as I left.......UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Wow I had to phone my son when I got home to let my family know how I had been treated and my son was very very happy about his. I am sure with my word of mouth and my sons we will be sending you future business. We are extremelly impressed with Jonathon and Janette so THANK YOU MAZDA!!!! More

We worked with Yousef on the finance end & it was completely stress free. He ensured we were well taken care of and worked hard to get get me everything I hoped for in a new vehicle. Overall, the team at Harris Mazda worked hard to ensure I got to drive my dream car home that day, regardless of the time restrains we were working with which was fantastic. The only complaint was the perfume. It's extremely overwhelming to be sitting in a room with someone who is wearing far too much scented lotions, perfume etc. My mom couldn't even sit in the office as I signed the final papers as she is severely allergic to perfumes etc. With there being many people that have these sensitivities, I think businesses should refrain from allowing staff to wear it. Keep your customers instead of sending them running away because of something as simple as perfume. More
