In looking for a replacement small car for my wife, Mavis, we visited several dealerships in Nanaimo to compare models, prices and the trade-in value of our VW Golf. Our sales person, Adams Obakpee, was extremely helpful, courteous and patient, in fact a credit to the Dealership. The other staff that we met in the process of purchasing the vehicle were also courteous. We really appreciated Adams Obakpee's fine sense of humour which helped to make the experience a very pleasant one for both of us. More

As a family of 5 who had just moved to Vancouver Island in early July after a 7 year stint in Thailand, we were in need of a mini van. My father in law saw a 6 year old Mazda 4 advertised on the the intern in early July after a 7 year stint in Thailand, we were in need of a mini van. My father in law saw a 6 year old Mazda 4 advertised on the the internet at the Harris Mazda dealership in Nanaimo. We went to look at the MVP on Saturday July 13th at 9:00am. We were greeted by Lilly who showed us the car. As a "product advisor" she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car; she accompanied us on a test drive and explained the features and the car's history to my wife, my father in law and our three year old daughter. Having made the decision to purchase the vehicle, she fed, watered and entertained our three year old daughter whilst we went to the see Jennette the accounts manager. Jennette then the introduced us to the woman from the insurance company. Lilly then reappeared and thought we might like to me the mechanic who had looked after the car on a regular basis for the last 6 years. His name was Jason and we met RJ too. It was Saturday so Adams made us a burger to top it all off. Have you ever seen dominoes being toppled? We must have met -or collided with- the entire staff in the time it would take to change a gasket.The Harris dealership worked like a well oiled machine- it was all very slick and professional and by 12:30pm the car was ours. Done and dusted. We were very very happy with our new car which we have nicknamed the "Bluebird", but we noticed a chip on the windscreen a few days later. We took it back the the dealership, and without any hesitation they agreed to fix it, no charge, no fee at all. That's quality! That's Mazda! That's Harris of Nanaimo for you! More

Extreemly happy with service and value. We recently bought a new Mazda CX5 from Harris (great car, by the way!) and I must say that our experience through the negotiation process (and they do negotiate) was, overall, very positive. We found the staff friendly, cooperative, patient and willing to meet us half way. They worked hard for our business and treated us fairly. The process was not without a few glitches but the staff were very responsive to any concerns raised. RJ, Gord and Adams spent a significant period of time with me at the end of the process (at my request) so I could provide some feedback - RJ even came in to work on his afternoon off. Now that we have our first Mazda we look forward to a positive relationship with the service side of the operation. More

I have been very pleased with the way I have been treated by the service department at this dealership! I took my car in for a minor issue and when I picked up my Miata an hour later, found that it had also by the service department at this dealership!
