My wife and I did an entire North Island blitz of dealerships over the course of a week, and by far had the best interactions were at Harris Mazda (20+ dealerships visited). Our saleswoman (Lilly) wa dealerships over the course of a week, and by far had the best interactions were at Harris Mazda (20+ dealerships visited). Our saleswoman (Lilly) was very knowledgeable about every car in the class (Honda, Mazda, Hyundai, Subaru, you name it) and her analysis was always fair. She even stayed after hours to chat with us while we were waiting to finish up with financial details (even offered snacks!). Their service department appears to be top notch, and everyone on the lot was friendly and accommodating. Gord, the sales manager also got involved with our deal, and was great as well. You can tell this dealership takes pride in it's customer service, will make good on it's promises, and keeps the high pressure sales gimmicks to a minimum. Their used vehicles were competitively priced with dealerships all over BC. Everything from start to finish was quite enjoyable, and even the dreaded 'final room' with the financial office was a breeze compared to other dealerships I've been to. Of course there were some last minute products being offered for sale, but these were kept to a minimum and were of real value. RJ knew his stuff and had a lot of information at his disposal, while at the same time not coming across as too pushy. Though we only got to briefly meet Dave Harris (and his dog!), I'd like to thank him. We could tell that you were trying to be a different sort of dealership from the get-go, and you've certainly succeeded. You have a fantastic staff, and business culture. Thanks again! More

After a less than stellar experience at a local dealership I took the drive down to Harris Mazda to look at some new CX-5's. Adams promptly came out, greeted me, and dove into what I was looking fo dealership I took the drive down to Harris Mazda to look at some new CX-5's. Adams promptly came out, greeted me, and dove into what I was looking for in a car. We discussed the pros and cons of SUVs versus trucks, various options. factory orders, towing - he seemed genuinely interested in getting me the right vehicle. This was a completely different experience than the first dealership that tried to push what they thought was an appropriate vehicle without regard to my needs or even cost. Despite having a couple CX-5's on the lot Adams encouraged me to go on the website and spec out what I was really looking for. After I settled on the CX-5 itself I spec'd one out for him and emailed it over, he was able to locate it pretty quickly and even did some digging into some of the new options Mazda had added to their site to confirm they could get them. A couple of days later I took a test drive with Adams and we discussed my need for a tow kit and trailer for the vehicle, he mentioned they might be able to get one for me and have it ready to go with the vehicle. After settling on a reasonable price I put down a deposit on the vehicle and he said he'd call me on the weekend to give me an eta. While we waited for the car Adams we very responsive and helpful over the email and phone while we sorted out the details of the trailer. He actually ended up getting a local shop to custom fabricate the exact one I asked him to pickup, rather than try to convince me to get a smaller one off the lot - much appreciated. Adams personally went to get our car and 5 days later it was ready for pickup. The options were all installed just like I requested on the original run through the website and the trailer was attached and ready to roll. The whole packaged looks great. Overall this was a very positive experience and my wife and kids couldn't be happier with the purchase. More

I was extremely happy with the friendly, courteous customer service I was given by all three of the Harris Mazda employees I dealt with. He took me on an extensive test drive and after buying my vehicle, fully explained all of the "bells and whistles". Gord also gave me a very positive level of comfort and was always there when I needed just that extra bit of support. I believe he did his best to get me the best deal he could. RJ came in on his day off to facilitate completing my deal and was very cooperative and helpful. Overall, buying my car at Harris Mazda has been a very positive experience and I feel I have also made new friends. I feel confident that I, as well as my new car, will be well looked after at the dealership. More

A few weeks ago I was interested in purchasing a sports car so I started, and finished my search, at Harris Mazda. It was raining upon my arrival, and after being introduced to the sweetest lady named Lilly, she swiftly offered me an umbrella and a cup of coffee that I accepted as I was really thirsty and it was pouring out. As we started looking at cars Lilly began asking me questions about what I was gonna use the car for, what features I was looking for, and who else would be using it etc. in order to narrow down our search. We stumbled upon a car that I just fell in love with, but was more expensive than I have available to spend, so Lilly went to speak with the sales manager and she actually managed to get me an absolutely fantastic price on the car that I could afford it. To this day I am still shocked at the price I got on this car and I just love it. It’s my dream car that I still can’t believe I own. Towards the end of the purchase I was introduced to R.J. (who is just hilarious) and he offered me a deal on an extended warranty that I just couldn’t refuse. It was too good of a deal and I can get the money back if I don’t use it. At the price he offered it to me I would have been crazy to say no. Every staff member that I saw acknowledged me and were so very polite that it really made me feel at comfortable and at ease. And they have the best coffee centre there too of which I took advantage of as some of the paperwork and insurance can take some time to finish correctly. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to your amazing staff! I was visiting family on the Island during the end of August when my car started having some major issues. When the time came to make the deal, it was done in a relaxing way where our voices were heard and our wishes were granted. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a "Hello"' including the young fellas who keep the cars so clean. We also enjoyed completing the final paperwork with RJ.
