The experience was even better once I arrived at the dealership. It was like no other car buying experience. Harris Mazda just aimed to please. It was not what I expected. I am not a fan of pushy sales people and have walked away from dealerships before because I of them. We met with Derek Kranevelkdt and were happy with this friendliness, professionalism and knowledge about the 2012 Mazda 3 we purchased. The only thing we were disappointed in was when we picked up the car the following day we found it to have an almost empty tank of gas... in the past when purchasing vehicles from the dealer it has always been nice to find them left with the first tank full. Would still highly recommend Harris Mazda though. More

HAPPY NEW OWNER OF MAZDA3 SPORT We came into Harris Nanaimo and met a fine young man, Derek Kranevelkdt, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about Mazda. We told him what we wer We came into Harris Nanaimo and met a fine young man, Derek Kranevelkdt, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about Mazda. We told him what we were looking for and he showed us a basic Mazda 3 which we took for a test spin. During the test he mentioned a 2015 Mazda sport with tech and luxury package that was available with low miles and full warranty. We took that one for a test spin and immediately knew that this model was definitely for us. As I told the Sales Mgr. Jim, we have fallen in love with Mazda and would definitely be trading in our Audi if not at his dealership then at another on the mainland. To make a long story short, Derek worked VERY HARD on our behalf to get the best price for our Audi and make the deal happen. Jim did what he had to do but Derek fought for us. We also purchased the paint protection package and the 5 year Mazda Maintenance package. We are very happy we walked into Harris Mazda and are looking forward to working with the service manager, Jason, to maintain our beautiful car. He stayed late and did not complain. The dealership made 2 attempts to rid my car of cigarette smell. It was washed and clean when I came to pick it up after ozone treatment. The team working at the dealership were helpful and friendly without being pushy. More

Well Done Harris Mazda! My wife and I drove up from Victoria on Friday to pick up our new 2016 CX-5. I was a little concerned when we got there that the vehicle wasn’t ready My wife and I drove up from Victoria on Friday to pick up our new 2016 CX-5. I was a little concerned when we got there that the vehicle wasn’t ready (we did arrive early), but was immediately put at ease by how quickly the team came together to get the vehicle ready to go knowing our limited time frame. So 1st off: We would like to thank the tech that took the time to clean and prep the vehicle. We noticed there was still some residue on the vehicle from shipment, but he took it into the back immediately and cleaned it to perfection. It was my wife’s 1st new vehicle purchase, so this little bit of time spent finalizing the condition really made her happy. 2nd: We would like to thank David Corrigal for his time in getting the financing done in a timely manner. He had the right type of attitude to put a buyer at ease with the purchase. 3rd: I’m not big into adulations etc. but little things go a long way. The fact that the entire business goes and stands in the service bay and congratulates you on your purchase is something I don’t need, but my wife loves that sort of attention. Some people think these little things can be a waste of time (myself included), but it’s the sort of thing that will bring my wife back to your dealership time and again. I stay loyal to a dealership based on service and the way I see the business being conducted, she enjoys the little things that make her feel special. Both of us came away saying that we wouldn’t hesitate to buy there again. 4th: The kids play area with TV is an amazing idea. It takes time to prep a vehicle, get the paperwork and ICBC insurance done etc. But my kids loved the room, and it put my wife at ease. She did say she didn’t know what she would have done if that room wasn’t there keeping our 2 year old busy. So although the room may not get used that much it definitely works for both parents, and I would assume even more so for those single parents, out there. Well done. And finally 5th: A big shout out to Laura Lister. She was amazing in keeping my wife informed as to what was going on, showing her all the bells and whistles on the new vehicle, and making sure everything and everyone was being taken care of. She went above and beyond, and is still doing so after the sale, in helping us make sure we are happy including checking into the back seat A/C that we had a question about even today. As I said, her attitude and commitment has gone a long way to making my wife very happy with the purchase. So, even though we won’t be getting the service done there (as we live in Victoria), we would not hesitate to purchase from you again. You are the 1st dealership we will call, and that says a lot about the commitment you have to the buyer. Hats off to you. Very happy Mazda Owners. More
