Very Poor Customer Service. Been a VW Loyal customer for 15 yrs. Purchased one of those lemon TDI 's . Took back to dealership to sell back to them through settlement agreement. Been a VW Loyal customer for 15 yrs. Purchased one of those lemon TDI 's . Took back to dealership to sell back to them through settlement agreement. Was given chq and told to F....Off and get out of the dealership by Dave Essig , Finance Mgr and Kevin Threadgill Sales Mgr. This is the second time Dave Essig confronted me and told me to F....Off and get out of HIS dealership. I brought this to the attention of the Owner Sjon Wynia but he found this acceptable that his staff tell his customers to F...Off. Shame Shame Would not deal with this dealership nor VW. More

Seemed expensive , so I checked Cdn Tire $288, BCAA $380, Cdn Tire did an inspection prior to installing and said that there wss just over half of the wear left in he shoes and there was no need to replace them. I will not trust Harbourview with my car again. More

They don't sell dodge b I bought a custom Dodge Ram from this dealership and it was the best experience I have add in 21 years of buying cars/trucks. They don't sell dodge but I let him know what I would like in conversation and they hunted it down exactly and save me money on top of everything. I am super happy and would recommend this dealership to anyone. On a side note I have in the past had my car serviced here and was also very impressed but this buying experience was over the top and warranted a review More
Unprofessional and unethical Like others, very disappointing in trying to purchase a used vehicle. The salesman and manager do not honour any verbal offer that might be made. I Horrible customer service..... I came in for my Jetta to be fixed and was treated poorly by the Service Advisor (Blaine). Very very unprofessional. I have been a customer for about 3 years and I've always been treated well by the sales team and parts guys but after this disappointing experience I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere More
Questionable Ethics I had a very disappointing experience trying to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. All was going well until an independent inspection from I had a very disappointing experience trying to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. All was going well until an independent inspection from a mechanic of their choice revealed seized rear brake pads and badly rusted rotors which would cost about $500 to fix and in the opinion of the mechanic of their choosing the vehicle shouldn't be sold in that state. This hadn't shown up in their in house inspection which was a little strange. I was still willing to purchase the vehicle but simply asked that they either fix the brakes or just reduce the price to help cover part of the cost of having them fixed, whichever option suited them financially was fine with me. This is the response that I got "It seems very apparent that this is a haggle and the one true constant in this brief exchange has been an unyielding motivation to get a cheaper price". It was just one part of a rude response in which they informed me that they would not sell the vehicle to me even though I had put down a deposit. They acted as though I had a conspiracy with a mechanic, it was beyond strange. They then turned around and offered the inspection that I had paid for as a bonus for the next customer. Perhaps their technicians honestly missed the problem, though that is also disconcerting, but even if that is the case the way in which it was handled was extremely shoddy. It was the most bizarre and rude business interaction I've ever experiened. I wasted my time, $130 and booking a day off of work in order to travel to get the vehicle only to be treated in a very disrespectful manner. If you have other options I'd strongly recommend that you go with a more ethical company. This dealership operates in a way that gives car salesmen a bad name and they certainly aren't all that way. They just don't care Title sums it up. I have bought several brand new vehicles over the past 5 years and each time has been pretty good. Where to start with these jackal Title sums it up. I have bought several brand new vehicles over the past 5 years and each time has been pretty good. Where to start with these jackals - ridiculously lowball trade in offers, blatant lying about current finance rates, scummy sales tactics that are more fit for the flea bag used car dealers. Spin the wheel to win a cornball prize! Ended up buying Golf Wagon here because I liked the car and really was not interesting in travelling to Victoria or Courtenay, too bad, guess I should have. Amazing how a banner flies in front of the dealership advertising a certain interest rate but magically the vehicle I purchased doesn't have that rate available. Business manager must have got a big bonus from the bank he signed me up for because even VW advertised rate for the golf wagon was a full percentage point better as I found out later online. Also this is the first new vehicle I have purchased where a "documentation fee" was charged, used vehicle sure ok, make your pure profit. Its also pretty incredulous that on their window stickers it clearly states "dealer mark up $1000" like as though they are being highly transparent...come on, really? The promised "full" tank of diesel was really about 16 litres short of a full tank, making the poor salesman seem like a fool saying I wouldnt need to fill up for weeks because I would get 1100km on the tank. 695km at 5.3l/100km - while the economy was great, it would have almost made to 1100km with that extra 16 or so litres that was missing. No follow up after purchase, no phone call, no email, no hey come check out our service department, not even a fricken keychain! They didn't even recognize or acknowledge me when I came back in a week later for some detailing. Wow. As the old saying goes, fool me once shame on me. Oh but I highly recommend the Golf wagon, awesome car - probably buy it somewhere else though. More
