Shocking bill disappointed Took our jeep in for warranty check which turned out to be over $400.00 with no issue with vehicle. Upon calling,Angela informed me there really wasn Took our jeep in for warranty check which turned out to be over $400.00 with no issue with vehicle. Upon calling,Angela informed me there really wasn't anything such as "Warranty work but just maintenance." The engine light was not on so doing a fuel injector cleaning service ( from other mechanics and online) is not required. My husband was told our warranty checks were up to date after paying however when I spoke to the same person she indicated this was just maintenance! Front and rear brakes were also serviced however that was discussed and insisted upon as a safety issue. Angela also informed me in a very patrionizing voice that we could have gotten a quote when we booked our Warranty appointment however if we didn't know what was being done how could we ask. In my over 40 years of owning a vehicle I have never had a warranty check turn into a maintenance service unless a problem was discussed and a price given. Very dissatisfied. A pleasant surprise My first service appointment, earlier this year, left me feeling unimpressed. No big issue, but I had a "piece of mind inspection" on a 2010 Journey My first service appointment, earlier this year, left me feeling unimpressed. No big issue, but I had a "piece of mind inspection" on a 2010 Journey with 50K and would have liked a checklist or some kinda of report....you know...for my "piece of mind". I didn't plan on returning, but I started to experience engine noise and wanted an experience Dodge technician to diagnose the issue, and this dealer is closest to my home There was some confusion as to what I wanted, but Service Manager Dave Gibson sorted it out. Seems there was an significant issue. I was aware the vehicle was past the 5 year warranty, so expected to pay the full shot. Because of the low kilometers, Dave was able to offer a goodwill gesture from Chrysler Canada that covered the cost of the parts. A pleasant surprise...to say it mildly. It was an experience above and beyond my expectations. From unimpressed to wow! Thank you More
