A great price, thousands better than other dealers. I had a great buying experience from the time I first showed up to upgrade my vehicle. My sales rep, Bryan Noseworthy went out of his way to let me ta I had a great buying experience from the time I first showed up to upgrade my vehicle. My sales rep, Bryan Noseworthy went out of his way to let me take out a 2016 Ram 1500 for a test drive 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening. It was because of this I made sure Bryan was working on my return visit to purchase my truck. Bryan worked hard to get me full value on my trade, and he had the answers to any question I had. I received a follow up call to ensure I was happy with my purchse, and to see if I had any questions. This is the second Ram I have purchased from Halifax Chrysler, and I have recommended them to family and friends because of the lowest pricing and easy to deal with sales staff. The only negative thing I can say about my experience is when I was asked to provide a credit card once we got into the final stages of negotiations. This is something I have dealt with from other dealerships as well, and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Overall a great experience, and I will be back in the future. Brent Melvin. More

Friendly and fair Chris went back and forth at least 6 times to the sales manager to negotiate a fair deal. We chose Halifax Chrysler primarily because I’d made up my mind to ge We purchased a Ram 1500 from Halifax Chrysler in Bayers Lake, March 27, 2015. We chose Halifax Chrysler primarily because I’d made up my mind to get this particular model, and was very excited about it. I’d done some research, but had I performed due diligence I would have checked other lots and prices around the city and possibly the province. Our salesperson was Rick Keseluk. The first time we met, he told us about his daughter excelling on Food Network’s ‘Recipe to Riches’. He was obviously very proud. He was fairly aggressive and argued a bit with my wife, when she said she wanted the evening to think about it before we committed. He stated that he couldn’t possibly get us the same ‘deal’ if we walked away. We advised that we would email him later that day. We did email him later and made an offer on the truck. He stated he couldn’t proceed as his boss wasn’t in. I had to leave for Maine for work on Monday, and got a phone call from Rick who stated the offer was accepted and I’d hear from the Credit Manager within 45 minutes. She called 5 hours later. When I spoke to her, she indicated she’d call me in an hour to ensure all was well with the application. I never heard from her, until I eventually got time to call on Thursday,; 3 days later. I was eventually told that all was approved and my appointment was Saturday March 28. I asked if we could come in March 27 and was told ‘No problem’ Come at 1 pm. Evidently, it was a very busy day. There was a national rep from Chrysler talking to browsers and the walls were covered with posters offering vacations to Orlando and Las Vegas with the purchase of a vehicle. We waited. My wife walked around the showroom, examining all the vehicles. It took her about 20 minutes. Then she did it again. We waited. We went outside to see the truck. The box was filled with snow and ice and it wasn’t clean. I asked if it had been washed. We went inside and waited. We heard more about the sale’s guy’s daughter’s 'recipe to riches' experience again. We wish her the best. We wait. My wife paces around like a caged cat. It’s her birthday and we’ve been there 3 1/2 hours without seeing the elusive sales manager. We wait. I ask the salesman if we qualify for the trip. I’m dismissed. He says we’ve already purchased the truck. We haven’t in my books. We wait. Finally the credit manager comes out full of apologies. I have no doubt that she was sincere, but it was still a long time to wait. My wife asks about the trips to Orlando or Vegas and she tells her we’d have to go talk to the salesman. My wife would rather jump off a cliff than go back and wait some more with the salesman. We’ve run out of conversation, and he’s primarily ignored us for the last hour and 1/2. No one offers coffee or refreshment. Not even a place to sit. With the paper work signed, the salesman walks us to the truck. He’s pleasant now, but we just want to leave. I can’t say it was a positive experience, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend Halifax Chrysler. My wife did run into a manager on one her tours around the showroom who joked with her and acted like a genuine human being. His office was beside the Credit Managers. If this experience is indicative of the service provided by Halifax Chrysler, I think I’d look further afield to have my service work done. I’d have to be won over as a customer. As for the salesman, Rick Keseluk- we’ve never heard from him again. No follow up. I wonder how his daughter’s doing? As an aside, it's now February 13, 2016. We still haven't gotten a response from the survey or letter I submitted with it. I figure if thats how they treat a customer who dropped $40K at their business why go back.. Dartmouth Dodge is very nice to me when I show up for my maintenance work and oil changes.. More

He was easy to deal with and was friendly and knowledgeable with respect to the new Jeep Renegades. Very professional, but there was also a next-door-neighbor feel to our conversations. Charmaine Moores was very helpful in getting our deal closed, financed and getting the keys dropped in our hands. She was very helpful in deciding whether or not to take the extra coverage on the warranty. We walked away, thinking about her advice and took her up on it the next day. More
