BUY New sell used I would recommend purchasing new vehicals as the sales and management are freindly and try to work with you. However once the vehicals is older and I would recommend purchasing new vehicals as the sales and management are freindly and try to work with you. However once the vehicals is older and you need repairs the service department is not equip with enough knowledgeable staff in electrical last 2 years told they only have one guy in that department. Apparently they now charge 157 fee that you pay in case they don’t find anything. Say What? If they do find you will be refunded she said. Ok so my cat made terrible noise on cold start when idling it shook like a xxxxxxx. Just got a call and was told that they test drove it yesterday nothing, and today they heard it at start up test drive and found a bolt missing I have extended warranty but not covered. Anyway I asked how long it took them she said about 20 min so ok 20 today I assume mb 20 yesterday and they replaced bolt. Still the fee I did not go down lol Pricey. I hope this is truly what is wrong with it as I had past experiences with up to 3 weeks to find an issue was a broken breather from oil change. Yet paper work and techs kept saying needs oil change. Hello sticker on the window that they had put there said I did not need for 8 tho km 3 -4 vehicals purchased from this comp but first time we kept past the 80 tho warranty. My husband is an mechanic but had no time to look at my renegade . I can’t wait till he goes in to pay that price for a bolt! Haha The service gals are awsome when you go to pay or make appointments in fact they are the only reason I keep taking my car to them instead of other dealerships. Yup buy new then you don’t need to deal with staffing issues or misdiagnosed problems More

When we brought it in to the service department to have it assessed, the service manager told us he thought a blunt object had fallen on the vehicle from above. We were pretty offended at his comment, basically telling us he thought we had lied about how the damage occurred. We had arranged to see him a second time, but the service manager was not available at the pick up time we had arranged. We sent an email to Aaron Hutton at the dealership, who we had been in contact with and had helped coordinate the meeting, with no response. We then reached out to Chris Lakusta, the GM, also via email, again with no response. After that we had another recall for our 2011 Caravan and brought both to the Grove Dodge dealership where the service manager there (we did not get his name) took the time to meet with us, look at our vehicle and explain the situation, as he saw it, with courtesy and respect. He offered the name of a body shop that could help us repair the damage at a fair price. We appreciated his help and second opinion. Extremely surprised at Great West's poor customer service after being treated very well at the time of purchase with Imi in sales. More

In less t I pulled my Jeep into their service bay about an hour before close on a Friday after my sunroof blew out while I was driving home from work. In less than an hour it was entered into the system to be looked at on the next Monday and I was on my way in a loaner. The staff were friendly, supportive and sympathetic. The repair was fast and well done. The Service Manager is professional and graceful under pressure. I’m a very loyal Dodge/Jeep consumer and this is why. Impeccable service and response to emergencies. I would recommend this Service Team for all your service needs. More

Frustrating Exp but Great Service Recovery I am dissapointered to share this review as I have been going to GWC for a long time. I recently took in my Dodge Nitro because it had no heat. Change I am dissapointered to share this review as I have been going to GWC for a long time. I recently took in my Dodge Nitro because it had no heat. Changed the thermostat and recommended to flush core. First day get vehicle back, now overheats on highway. Take back, service changes the water pump now. Service test drives and gives me ok. I drive it again no heat and again overheats. Take back and the diagnose the I need to replace heat core. So after close to $2k in needless repairs, 4 breakdowns on road and 3 weeks in shop and still NO heat want to replace the heat core for another $2500. Instead we decided to put a bypass on the system and truck will run but no heat and I would sell. Over the 3 weeks, I advised the service team they should have a sakesperson talk to me?? Never did. I needed a loaner for the time in shop. Had the use of a loaner for one day that I still haven’t received my $200 deposit back? I could tell the service advisor (Tyrion) did care but was frustrated by the car issues. When I questioned why my water pump would need to be replaced after they changed the thermostat he said it was likely because of the age. When my truck broke down for the 4th time (all for the same reason all after they changed the thermostat). Enough was enough. I really feel they were just making up diagnosis to keep me paying!! I have driven Dodge for over 25 years and won’t use Great West. No confidence and questionable tactics. The good news. St. Albert Dodge picked up a new sale and a new customer. They were the closest dealership to where my truck broke down for the final time. Probably the easiest sale they ever made. Update: Had a follow call from Ray (Service Manager @ GWC) which was really appreciated. Most companies don’t listen or follow up with disgruntled clients. He does! Took the time to listen and understand my frustration. Had a very good conversation how things could may happened and together we both came to very good understanding. He realizes where they could improve and I appreciate his follow up. I think I may have to give them another chance. More
Incorrect Diagnostic I brought my Chrysler into the dealership because me heat was not working properly and I asked them to do a diagnostic and let me know what was wrong I brought my Chrysler into the dealership because me heat was not working properly and I asked them to do a diagnostic and let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. They said that the problem was with the heater core and that it would have to be replaced. They quoted me almost $1800 including parts and labor to fix it so I told them I would take my car somewhere else to get another quote. I took it to another mechanic and they told me that the heater core was in fact not the problem and all that needed to be done was a coolant and heater core flush. The cost for this was $367 instead of the $1800 that Chrysler quoted me. I am very disappointed that the people who should be the experts could be so misleading and incorrect in their diagnosis. I will NEVER go back or recommend that anyone else go here. More
Service ripoff Took my Dodge journey in for diagnostics with a clicking sound in the engine. They alled back six hours later saying would cost $900 to fix it. I dec Took my Dodge journey in for diagnostics with a clicking sound in the engine. They alled back six hours later saying would cost $900 to fix it. I declined the repairs and asked when it would be ready, and when I went to pick it up they gone on ahead with repairs anyway doing a bunch of work that was totally unnecessary. Ended up paying $400 for diagnostics and some unecessary parts. Took vehicle to stony plain Chrysler the very next week, and they found the problem and diagnosed it and fixed Underwarranty. GWC service department was abusive, arrogant, and had the gall to threaten to withhold my warranty due to a dirty air filter if I didn't pay More
