Walked into GreatWest at 9:30 next morning after dealing with salesman from Don Wheaton the previous day, just to inquire on a beautiful Pearl Red 2500 Ram Cummins deisel, and within the first five minutes had a young salesman by the name of Whitroy come up to my wife and I, introduce himself and ask if he could help us out in any way. Told him I'm interested in above mentioned truck and would like to know price, minus my trade in and final price I would be financing and within 45mins had my truck looked at, driven and appraisal all done up in a report with my name on it from his Sales Manager Lance. Whitroy was great from the start to the end of the dealings along with the two others involved in deal, Lance and Salvatore. Great, great service and was made to feel like I was valued not like at Don Wheaton where we felt like I was just another sale, and neeedless to say picked up my new 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins deisel the next morning and was on the road home by 12:30p.m. More

When I go back for my regular maintenance of my vehicle or any problems of my vehicle . I have no worries , when my vehicle in their service department, I trust in there customer service and there tech mechanic support staff. I know my vehicle is looked after thoroughly. I spoke with Shawn Shute on the phone as I live Canmore, Shawn was sympathetic and was genuinely excited that I would be able to replace my wrecked car with a dead ringer. It was rather refreshing to have a salesman that was excited for my purchase rather than his sale. Shawn Shute understood what I wanted and made it happen within a couple hundred dollars of what I was willing to pay. I put a 500 dollar deposit to hold the car and drove up the next day to get it. Once I hit Calgary I realized I had forgotten my credit card in canmore...guess what?!...Shawn had a solution for that. At Olds I realized I had forgotten my license plate in canmore...guess what?!!...Shawn solved that problem too...I walked into the Dealership, grabbed of coffee and went directly to Shawn's office and then over to finance depth. I wasn't even there long enough to finish my coffee. I was in and out the door in less than twenty minutes keys in hand. Shawn Shute had all the " i's " dotted and the " t's " crossed by the time I got there. Every promise Shawn made was fulfilled and then some. Was I ever gouged! My 2016 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel showed a CEL and ETC codes. I cleared the codes myself. It took 10 secs. Codes came back so I knew something was wrong but wasn’t sure what. I figured it could be related to the Cold Air Intake I recently installed. I wanted to take it to Derrick Dodge which I’ve always trusted but it was too far away for me to take a chance. Therefore, I took it to Great West. Later during the day, I received a call from Service. I was told I forgot to put a 3” hose clamp on my cold air intake. I thought oh well, put one on. I ended up paying $435! I asked for an oil change at the same time. They wanted $290! I had it done at Lube City for $114. I was recommended to do a Fuel Filter replacement. I agree it had to be done but they wanted almost $500! They claimed they also had to service the throttle body for carbon buildup ect, reason why it was so expensive. The truck only has 12k! I ended up buying a Fuel Filter from Parts Source for $33 and had it installed for $39.99 by Lube City. Gouging people like this is outrageous. Thankfully I have good mechanic knowledge I can avoid being ripped off. However, how about people who have no clue? This is shameful to run a business this way. I paid the hefty bill, I licked my wounds and I will never be back again. More

When I came in to take it the following day, she was in the middle of dealing with another customer so Andy swapped my plates, ran me through a more in-depth description of the features and sent me on my way. I appreciated that Eden didn't drop her current customer to deal with me (I had shown up about half an hour early) and liked the seamlessness with which Andy took over. Mike was a pleasure to deal with when financing. He was a total dude - no BS and easy to get along with. More
