We regret that you are unhappy with the diagnostic provided on your vehicle. Unfortunately in this case, the half hour of diagnostic time is not adequate time to determine exact causes or solutions of your engine failure, leaving us only able to make generalizations regarding possible causes or possible solutions. We have offered repair estimates based on the information we are able to gather within that limited time and are confident with the determination that your long block needs to be replaced. Should you decide to authorize additional time for diagnostic we may be able to determine more detailed/exact causes and other possible solutions, but also do not suggest that additional time will change the recommended repair, although it may determine a more exact cause of failure. Our fixed operations manager has provided you the speculated cause of failure and two different repair options for your consideration, via email.
