One of the smoothest dealership service experiences I’ve had after recently purchasing my Sportage. Booking the appointment was quick and efficient, check in was fast, and the service advisors kept me updat had after recently purchasing my Sportage. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service — Ronesh Sewak Is Truly a Gem! I have previously reviewed Kia West, but after today’s experience, I felt compelled to write another review — this time specifically to recognize I have previously reviewed Kia West, but after today’s experience, I felt compelled to write another review — this time specifically to recognize one exceptional individual: Ronesh Sewak. What an absolute gem of a person. From the moment I arrived, Ronesh greeted me with that warm, genuine smile that somehow said a million unspoken words — welcome back, we know you, and we’ll take care of you. There is something incredibly reassuring about being remembered and welcomed like that, especially when you’re bringing your vehicle in for a significant repair. During my previous visit for a routine oil change, the Kia West team discovered that my radiator was leaking. Ronesh immediately got the ball rolling. He took care of the logistics, paperwork, warranty approval and authorization so that everything would be properly arranged for today’s scheduled appointment. The repair involved replacing the radiator, flushing out the old coolant and replacing it with the correct Kia-specific coolant for my Optima SXL. I genuinely appreciate having that level of attention paid to doing things properly and according to manufacturer standards. I was fortunate enough to purchase my Kia Optima SXL outright and also invested in an extended warranty. While the warranty covered a significant portion of this repair, certain items were not covered, leaving me with an out-of-pocket bill of more than $960. In Vancouver, an unexpected bill of that size can certainly hurt! Yet even while paying that bill, I walked away feeling grateful that my vehicle was being looked after by Kia West. There will always be independent shops advertising themselves as the cheaper alternative, but for me, there is tremendous value in knowing that my vehicle is being serviced by people familiar with Kia vehicles, using the appropriate products, procedures and standards. When it comes to maintaining a vehicle I have invested in, that peace of mind matters. And then there is Ronesh Sewak. His personality, professionalism, warmth and mannerisms elevate the entire experience. He doesn’t make you feel like another repair order or invoice number. He makes you feel genuinely welcomed and looked after. That human element is something money simply cannot buy, and it is exactly the kind of service that creates customer loyalty. Even the customer lounge deserves a mention — comfortable, polished, and complete with a complimentary specialty coffee kiosk. I may have helped myself to two Latte Macchiatos… and dare I say, they gave Starbucks some serious competition! 😂☕️ Ronesh, if you happen to read this: thank you. Thank you for getting everything organized from my previous visit through to today’s appointment, for making the process easy to understand, and most importantly, for treating me with such genuine warmth and respect. Kia West has a wonderful representative in you. Technical expertise may bring a customer into a service centre, but people like Ronesh are what make customers want to come back. ⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing and disorganized experience I went to Kia West Go Auto in Coquitlam to have my Sorento serviced and decided to speak with a salesperson about possibly upgrading to experience I went to Kia West Go Auto in Coquitlam to have my Sorento serviced and decided to speak with a salesperson about possibly upgrading to a Kia EV9. We test-drove an EV9, agreed on the numbers, and I paid a deposit. Only after making the deal was I told that the exact vehicle I had test-driven and agreed to purchase had already been sold. Never should they have allowed someone to test drive a vehicle that was already sold to someone else. I was initially told a replacement vehicle would arrive within two to three days. About 20 minutes later, that changed to five to seven days. As I was leaving, I was then told they would contact me “in a couple of days” when it arrived. When I questioned why the timeline kept changing and asked for a firm delivery date, the salesperson spoke with the sales manager, Shaun, and came back saying the vehicle would arrive on July 15. What made the experience even more disappointing was that Shaun never once came over to introduce himself, say hello, explain the situation, or thank me while I was preparing to purchase a vehicle worth approximately $76,000. Everything was communicated back and forth through the salesperson. The entire experience felt unsettled, disorganized, and extremely ordinary for such a major purchase. It was nothing like my previous experience purchasing my Sorento from this dealership before it became part of Go Auto. After shopping around, I found a much better deal elsewhere on the exact vehicle I wanted. When I asked Kia West to refund my deposit, I was told I would have to return to the dealership in person. I use credit card terminals in my own business regularly, and I have never required a customer to physically return just so I could process a refund. A refund can normally be handled without inconveniencing the customer further. Overall, the inconsistent information, lack of transparency regarding the vehicle’s availability, absence of basic management courtesy, and unnecessary difficulty getting my deposit refunded made this a very poor experience. I would strongly recommend shopping around before purchasing from Kia West Go Auto. If you want to buy a Kia please do NOT buy from Kia West Go Auto Coquitlam. More

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR TRUST WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT REPAIRS. We bought a 2018 Forte and was told the a/c and compressor were broken/leaking. We took it to a different mechanic who showed us there was no leak and all the repairs KIA said were needed, were false. Our 2019 Sorento has also faced major problems... over 30,000 worth of repairs. It's cheaper to look at getting a new car. They don't have good customer service. Managers never return calls in the time frame given. I've called them 8 times over 6 hours and still nobody's returned my call... but I'm told they will in 15 minutes, 20 minutes etc. More

The GO Kia West service department has shown great improvements over the last 2 years. They have friendly staff, and a much more organized environment given how busy they get. The wait times will be slightly higher on busy days, but this is ok. They have very skilled and knowledgeable staff that truly care about your vehicle. Many of the low reviews on here an google are done by sensitive people who don't understand how car maintenance works, and are unhappy with their vehicles, not the place servicing them. I bought my 2014 Kia Sorento from Kia West almost 13 years ago now and have stopped taking in my Sorento at this location for servicing for the past 5 years due to my car coming back with random issues years ago now and have stopped taking in my Sorento at this location for servicing for the past 5 years due to my car coming back with random issues after dealing with one. My Sorento has been running fine with no issues since. Today I brought in the Sorento for an ABS recall . Prior to the servicing my engine was quiet and running perfect. BUT as I arrive home from the dealership, my engine made a xxxx of a loud noise. A constant screeching noise coming from my engine I called back Alex to inform him what has happened and requested to fix this issue but he only offered a free diagnostics check. Also the way he responded to my complaint was with such unprofessional behaviour (laughing) More
