Feel as though I dealt with 3 dealers - one wanted to throw in everything free of charge, one believed 'nothing is free' and one was flat out confused. Mike was available and cooperative until it came down to the financials, everything he agreed to throw in was listed on the bill of sale. When asked he said 'nothing is free'. We had to show him an email confirming he stated free delivery, then he agreed he was 'bent over a barrel' and would cover the cost. He reconciled the cost by increasing the interest rate by 2% though. When we reached agreement he said he was going to deliver on a flat bed right to our door and that he was confident we would receive it within a week. We received confirmation that it was on it's way Monday (5 days later), however he was not sure when it would be arriving at our destination in Ontario. Tried contacting numerous times, was never in office and didn't respond to emails until late at night even though before purchase he assured that emails are sent directly to his phone and he can be reached at any time. By Thursday we had not heard from dealer and did not know who was delivering the jeep, where the jeep was or when it would be arriving. Called the dealership and his response was 'I'm not with the driver, I can't tell you where he is'. An hour later he returned call to notify that it had actually never left Winnipeg and that it should be here the next week.. Avoid this dealership. More

Steal my money!! Called to ask that they pick up car N/C and did not hear back it's been 8 days and not heard yet!! Was told that they had bought car from dealer and should be here soon??? Not a word from sales manager to this day after several attempts to reach him Paid a $1000 deposit that I want returned Except for service from Greg the salesman, all other Gauthier employees have not been helpful or tried to solve issues. Don't lay it on the junior guy, I asked to speak with sales manager directly This would have been the third vehicle purchased over twenty years but I am so upset I will not even drive by the Gauthier Regent location or recommend anyone purchase anything new or used More

I stand there like an idiot. I ask the cashier if there is anyone else that can help me? Response: "no"…. Still talking on the phone. Then he hangs up…. AND PICKS UP THE PHONE AGAIN and calls someone! While I was standing there at the counter! He's on the phone again for 10 minutes. I ask the cashier that I would like my money back for the part i had already purchased and was there to pick up. Response: "I can't."… In a rage I ask for the manager. Response: "He's on lunch."…. oooooh. I'm sorry. I don't want to disturb anyone at this dealership. I'm a horrible person. I emailed the Manager that same day to inform him of the poor service….. big shock. He never responsed. He did response quickly when he was taking my order though. Sales will speak so highly of how they look after you after the purchase, and tell you everything you want to hear, but believe me, at this place, once they have your money, they put up a big DO NOT DISTURB SIGN. More

I had been to many different dealerships looking at various vehicles and was very undecided. I left all those dealerships feeling bullied or that I was dealing with people that had a total lack of knowledge when it came to their product. I have purchased many vehicles in many provinces and this is by far my best experience yet. I had a unique situation that made it hard for me to make a decision but Yolande was patient with me ( and my many visits) and was very knowledgable in helping me make a good financial/practical/and personal decision. I can't thank you enough.......very good pricing too!!! More
Got a great deal, no problems here I went too pretty much all the dealerships in Winnipeg and have bought a half dozen trucks in my lifetime. Very happy I came here, the others in the city were not a good experience at all. I've never posted a review before but offered too do so after feeling very at ease dealing here. No games, best price, best trade value by thousands over other dealers and the lowest payment and interest rate I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and try these guys out, you'll be happy you did!! Unsatisfied customer We bought our first car ever last March 2014. There are accessories that has not been installed and they said we have to wait for couple of weeks. We e-mailed the dealer every now and then to ask for an update. It's been 3 months, they don't give definite date when to install that accessories. We don't receive reply from e-mail the soonest. we have to send many times before they reply. And their reply is so disgusting, saying that they could not send updates because no updates to give. Until when we wait? So annoying! More
The sales people and overall experience in purchasing my Jeep in 2011 was good. The Service Department seems to be lacking in customer service orientation however. I had concerns about the fees and charges on my bill. They tried to charge me twice for tire rotation and the cashier blamed the Service Consultant and he blamed her. Very unprofessional! I had concerns about the high additional costs for an upgrade to Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil, and no one was able to explain that. I questioned the "Record Retention Fee" and no one could tell me why it was levied. The Service Manager was rude and said to me "I guess there's just no pleasing some people Sir". These people need to understand that the answer "It's what we charge....everyone pays it" is NOT the answer that explains their rationale for the fees they charge. And that's the best they could come up with. Gauthier Chrysler in Winnipeg is close and convenient. But I no longer trust them enough to care for MY vehicle. Buyer beware. More
