This was my first time financing my own vehicle. As you know this can be a rather stressful experience for a first time buyer. However i can honestly say all the staff at freeway Mazda go out of there way know this can be a rather stressful experience for a first time buyer. However i can honestly say all the staff at freeway Mazda go out of there way to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. From the sales manager all the way to the finance manager they helped make it as stress free and exciting as possible. My product advisor Joel was also extremely helpful going over all the small details as well as the larger ones which was a very welcome experience. Through dealing with the staff with my previous Rx8 all the way to my new 2014 Mazda 3 GT i would highly recommend freeway to any buyer looking to purchase a new or used Mazda. More
During my car hunting adventure I went to several dealerships, including another Mazda dealership, and experienced different levels of service. At many of the dealerships I felt sales pressure; and, dealerships, including another Mazda dealership, and experienced different levels of service. At many of the dealerships I felt sales pressure; and, only when I reflected that I was prepared to buy now was I greeted with all of the information I needed. It felt like such a game, adding to my dislike of car shopping... Must admit, I was a little deflated and stressed prior to coming to Freeway Mazda. I have nothing but raving reviews for Thai Mounivong and the Freeway Mazda Team. These are the following qualities I appreciated about Thai’s service: 1) He was willing to invest his time and energy into me with no commitment on my part. (no pressure - thank you) 2) I left my first visit with Thai feeling very informed about what Mazda had to offer me. Must admit, I felt a little like Goldie Locks – First test driving the Mazda 3 which was too small, next with the Mazda 5 that was too big and lastly driving the CX-5 which was just right for me. None of the other dealerships promoted me to try on any/all car(s) I wanted for size without making me feel bad, for taking up their time. I’ll share that the first Mazda dealership I went to didn’t encourage me to test drive anything because I didn’t know what I wanted. The salesman even said to me, after 5 minutes in the showroom, I don’t want to waste your time so I think the CX-5 would be your best choice. How would he know after 5 minutes and how am I going to learn what I want unless I try things out? Oddly enough, I did purchase the CX-5 but only because I was able to make an informed decision based on the service Thai provided. He encouraged me to test drive and experience - considering which features were most important to me thus narrowing my search. 3) I asked 101 questions, Thai gladly answered all of them. I felt I had solid knowledge about the vehicle which boosted my decision making confidence. 4) I’m not a haggler but I really appreciate a good deal. Thai helped me feel positive (not swindled) about the price that I paid for my new Mazda. He also highlighted the perks of the demo model that I purchased and negotiated oil changes for life and a cargo cover as an added bonus. This showed me that Freeway Mazda really wants me as an ongoing customer and values my business. 5) In selecting a vehicle, I knew I would also want to find a friendly place for servicing. Thai’s service was a great example of what I was looking for. Additionally, he introduced me to several of his team members who were also friendly and supportive, this added to my confidence. Thank you Eric Tham, Dante De Cubellis, Russ Daniels and James McInnes for your help - it was a pleasure meeting you. 6) Thai exuded an attitude that he cared about what was important to me in a vehicle, he provide me with all the information I needed to know about Mazda and left all of the decisions up to me. This displayed a level of respect that I really appreciate about him. 7) After processing paperwork, Thai took me through my new vehicle in detail. He also followed up with an email and text a few days later to ensure everything was “running smoothly”. I appreciate that he was still thinking about me even after the deal was done. 8) Lastly, Thai encourage me to contact him in the future with any questions or concerns I may have. This demonstrated to me that Thai’s service is genuine and ongoing. Thank you Thai for focusing on selling help, you made my decision very easy. Buying a car and taking a loan is not something I take lightly and it required much deliberation. Thank you Thai for helping me make an informed and confident decision. I’m elated with my new vehicle and I look forward to dealings with you and Freeway Mazda in the future. Cheers, Sarah More
