Went in for a check engine light I am not from the lower mainland so I had never taken my car to any other Mazda dealership for out of warranty servicing and repair. I was a bit paranoid because I was worried I was going to get the old "uh-oh, all of this stuff is wrong with your car" and a hefty bill. This was not the case at all. They found the source of the problem in half an hour and charged me accordingly (less than 1 hour labor). They didn't initiate any repairs without asking me first, and made sure I knew what exactly was being done. I was late to my appointment (I got lost several times thanks to my outdated GPS) and they still took me in right away. I even had the nerve to ask them to do an oil change since they were going to be working on my car anyways, and they were fully booked. They repaired the vehicle, and did the oil change, even though I was late (and they washed my car!!!). The service and sales staff were both very friendly. Would highly recommend. More

My first Mazda I had a pretty good idea of pricing when I went shopping for a CX-5, thanks to a pricing website called carcostcanada.com. At the first dealer, they accepted my offer but limited it to a new model that already had 600 km on it. In addition, they had a $695 "documentation" fee, which I hate. I went to Freeway Mazda to look at their inventory, and spoke to Taylor Goertzen. Taylor made the shopping experience a very positive one. First, Freeway Mazda has no doc fee (on new cars, anyway). Next, when I asked to take a CX-5 to show my wife (I'd already test-driven one at the first dealer), Taylor was happy to oblige. Most importantly, the sales manager readily accepted my offer, conditional only on selecting a car they had in stock. If I wanted a different color, that would be an extra $350 to locate and bring it in. Since they had one in a color I could live with, and so new it still had the plastic wrap on the seats, we had a deal. The whole process of buying the car (showing it to my wife, making an offer, getting my trade appraised, etc.) took an entire day, so by closing time there was a bit of a scramble to deliver the car into my hands. From what I could see, it involved the sales rep, the business manager, the service and lot staff and the insurance rep to make it all come together. Despite the lateness of the hour, they got the job done and I drove home in the new wheels. Throughout, I felt very well-treated, respected and valued as a customer, and that the dealer wanted to ensure my satisfaction. I'd easily recommend the dealer in general and, of course, Taylor in particular. The whole team proved that purchasing a car can be a positive (if tiring!) experience for a customer that arrives prepared and informed. More

My First Car A while back I went to this dealership with my dad because he was interested in the Mazda CX-5, this is when we met Peter and after this we both came A while back I went to this dealership with my dad because he was interested in the Mazda CX-5, this is when we met Peter and after this we both came to the conclusion that he was an honest guy, considering what he told us about the ups and downs of the model. We never ended up buying that car at the time, but most recently I was looking for my first car and based on the honesty of Peter we decided to contact him once again. But Daniel was able to place us in a similar, better vehicle. Complete disclosue of the vehicle presented. With Daniel wanting to help us stay within our money parameters we were introduced to and then dealt with Jay. Straight forward and up front works for me. That's what we got wih Jay. Very much appreciated. The vehicle had just been brought in and therefore we picked it up a few days later. Complete reports of the work performed and the status of all areas of the vehicle were handed over. The vehicle was detailed and ready to be handed over. The time in the business office was brief and no pressure. Again, much appreciated. Insurance was a breeze. Daniel then gave us a detailed overview of the vehicle and we were on our way. Overall a very good experience. Down the road we shall se how the service dept. holds up. More
