Service The rear hatch window on my newly purchased 2014 Lincoln MKX (purchased from Freedom used vehicle sales on Dec 24, 2015) shattered, without cause, whi The rear hatch window on my newly purchased 2014 Lincoln MKX (purchased from Freedom used vehicle sales on Dec 24, 2015) shattered, without cause, while driving. As you can appreciate, this was a frightening experience while driving but thankfully I was not injured. I contacted Freedom Ford Service and spoke with Mireille. She managed to get me in for service immediately which was excellent under the circumstances. Mireille determined that my warranty did not cover the replacement of the window and after discussion with me she offered to speak to the used vehicle Manager and eventually he agreed to cover the cost to replace the window. I was very pleased that Freedom Ford agreed to cover the costs and Mireille was extremely helpful in ensuring I was taken care of.through the entire process. My only issue was with Master Glass who returned my vehicle to me with glass shards visible in the hatch area and remaining shards visible around the interior of the hatch. An excessive amount of inexplicable debris/dirt, from the replacement, was also observed all over the rear bumper. I expressed my concerns to Mireille and she immediately had one of the shop hands take my vehicle and vacuum up the obvious shards. Mireille also agreed to have a representative from Master Glass contact me, which was done. More
