Way over filled my oil …caused me smoke and stalling. They knew it when I returned and emptied and refilled. Should never had been charged. Could mess with my motor down the road. Will never go back. Booked the earliest appointment available for my '20 F250 diesel on Feb 13 2023, appt I was for March 14. The reason was the engine light came on Feb 11. I had to go into Fraser on Feb 13 because no one answ diesel on Feb 13 2023, appt I was for March 14. The reason was the engine light came on Feb 11. I had to go into Fraser on Feb 13 because no one answers the phone or returns messages. Was told on Feb 13 the truck was fine unless the light flashes. Dropped the truck off March 14 @ 8am. Asked the Service Advisor (SA) to have tires rotated and filters changed, as well. Received a call at 2pm saying the truck would NOT going be worked on that day and it would be looked at in about 3 days according to the Service manager's direction. Pick up the F250 at 5pm. Asked why a scanner wasn't put on the truck to diagnose and potentially order parts? Was told no diesel mech (DM) available. Asked do you need a DM to put on a scanner or rotate tires? Answer is NO. Left Fraser, went to Marigold Ford, the truck is now at Marigold for it's appt March 15 @ 2. Marigold had an Uber take me home 30 minutes away. When at home March 14 @ 7pm, Marigold called to say it's a potentially a software update required that Ford sends out in service bulletins. More
The fraser ford dealership is not trustworthy when they sell you a vehicle they promise like honest people but when you go for repair and warranty service they don't keep they are promises. and ripped you sell you a vehicle they promise like honest people but when you go for repair and warranty service they don't keep they are promises. and ripped you off. I called Kim, as we have a great relationship over almost 6 years of service work with 2 vechiles, to tell her what happened. She asked 2 simple questions: Who's name is the truvk under in the system and how many kilometres on on the truck. She gave us great news she is covered. 3 lessons learnt: always bug extended warranties (tricare), always check in with Kim becuase she knows her stuff, and always fo business with Fraser Ford because they stand behind their products!!! There were no appointments available. Once it was determined by Peter Roks, that the parts were available, Andrew Mattson, the Service Foreman, agreed to repair the vehicle himself right then. I am beyond grateful to Andrew for taking the time to make that determination. More
