Seven months to fix a squeak in the steering wheel is unacceptable. Numerous new parts were defective. Many trips to the dealership to try to figure out what was wrong. Terrible experience purchasing my vehicle, poor service, had to inform the sales person that everything was not a go because we did not have a temporary sticker. Also had trouble with the loan payments, they quoted us with higher payments than we expected. Went home and figured it out for ourselves, and the figures were much higher than they should have been. We had to wait a month to have the fog lights fixed! Also getting a recall, we were told they did not have the part in stock to fix the problem. We waited for a call from, but no call. In the meantime, we get a second urgent recall. I read the reason for the recalls to find both were software updates. Still trying to set up apps., it was not easy! By a stroke of luck I made it through the service department and a lady booked me an appointment. Finally, what a journey! When we arrived, we told them the "start/stop" feature stopped working. We spent just about all day waiting for our car to be done. They fixed the recalls, but the start/stop needed a part and would take 2 weeks to come in. Because we needed another appt, I asked a guy how I could get an appt. He gave me his card with his personal cell and told me to call and leave a message and he would call back. True to his word. I called because I did not get a call and already it was close to 3 weeks. He called me back and informed me the part was in so booked the appt. The next week, midweek, I get a call saying the part was in and they wanted to book an appt. I advised that I already took care of the appt, but I was curious as to when the part came. She went to look and told me it had come in 12 days ago. I couldn't believe the poor service once again. So, the only people I have any respect for is the lady and gentleman in the service department. More
I suspect everyone hates taking their vehicle for service as it is more expense. That said, I only take my vehicle to Dartmouth Dodge because I fully trust that service advisor Tom MacPhee will ensure only as it is more expense. Purchased a certified pre owned promaster. Drove 5 1/2 hours away from the dealer had a tire issue. After a couple of trips to my local dealer I had that some what resolved. Ordered approximately $9000 worth of racking and had it installed, 2 days into actually using the van for work I started having an issue with the van starting , I had to have it towed to my local dealer. After a few more trips to the dealer it would not start any more. My local dealer told me at that point that there was record of the problem that Dartmouth dodge would have known about it. When I called Dartmouth dodge to see if anything could be done to help me out the gentleman I was speaking to was rude and wouldn’t even give me his whole name. His response was to take it back to them and he would give me back my money minus the taxes , they told me to just remove my new racking (at my own cost which was ordered to fit that van) and it would be my responsibility for the tow truck to take it back to them , which is approximately 5 1/2 hours away. The van is working now but it sat at my local dealership Colburn Chrysler for almost 2 months while they did diagnostics and ordered parts. I am very frustrated with Dartmouth dodge. They should have never sold that van with it having an issue. Having a van tied up like that severely hurt my small business which they couldn’t have cared less about. Further more I don’t even know why I received this survey as I did not have any work done there. More
I had the best customer service offered to me and that is all thank you to Kevin Peter. Kevin went out of his way from day 1. Kevin always tries to help out his customers even if it's just to go get someone all thank you to Kevin Peter. Kevin went out of his way from day 1. You can always count on his wonderful smile gental kind heart without him I would have never came to this place. Andy the mechanic went out of his way to hook up a computer to my jeep to ease my mind. Andy is the best mechanic there always there for me and made me feel like I was important. Between Kevin and Andy I couldn't of had a better experience with them keeping me updated on the progress of my vehicle to always making sure they explain all what was going on with my jeep. Kevin went out of his way to make sure I was not without a vehicle for the 2 weeks it took to figure out what was going on with her. I can not express how much these two have helped me in the last month thank you always and I'll never forget how incredible these two are to me every time I showed up. More
