Excellent Customer Service When we went to see about a new truck at Dartmouth Dodge, not sure what to expect in the sales people based on other sales people experiences from ot When we went to see about a new truck at Dartmouth Dodge, not sure what to expect in the sales people based on other sales people experiences from other dealerships (that seem to be more focused on there sales commission then the customers needs, some giving just basic information about or not sure about the things there selling, or the ones the make you feel like there more important then you the customer) but we received an excellent reception walking in to the showroom by Shane, who was busy with others at the time but took the time to answer some of our questions and letting us look through one of the trucks we were looking for, gave us his card and a few weeks later we returned to see Shane, and see about getting a truck, and trading in two cars we had. Shane went above and beyond for us to make sure we found exactly what we were looking for and answering any other questions we had, walked us through all the features in our new truck and giving us great advice for down the road, Shane is very personable and honest and provided us with excellent customer service in getting our New 2016 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 Quad Cab. Dartmouth Dodge Lives Up To Its Customer Service Hype After 37 years of owning exclusively one Japanese brand of car we recently made the switch to Jeep with the purchase of a 2015 Grand Cherokee. After f After 37 years of owning exclusively one Japanese brand of car we recently made the switch to Jeep with the purchase of a 2015 Grand Cherokee. After five months of ownership, we couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle. At the time of purchase we had to choose between competing dealerships. We actually elected to pay slightly more at Dartmouth Dodge because friends had spoken very positively about their customer experiences with the dealership. Our sales rep stressed their strength in service and customer aftercare. All of this registered, and we elected to pay the slight premium, but you always wonder whether your experience will be as positive as promised. Our Jeep was in for snow tires, oil change, minor after-purchase tweaks and adjustments and a small paint repair last week. It may not sound like much, but there was actually quite a bit of coordination required to make it all work. I spoke with Tom MacPhee in service a couple of days before the car was due in. Everything was ready when I rolled up for the appointment. Tom took care of several special requirements brilliantly, and advocated on my behalf to sort through some tricky billing issues. Working with Matt Hall, the Service Manager, they found the most advantageous billing option (they went back into the sales file and researched several things - going above and beyond) which minimized the price I had to pay to such an extent that I had to check three times to be sure the price was as low as I initially thought I heard Tom say. Tom liaised with David Lake, the Body Shop Manager, orchestrating the most efficient sequencing of all the service and repair activities. A lot was accomplished in a short period of time. A shout out to the Body Shop for some excellent work remedying a minor paint issue that a less qualified shop could easily have made worse. During the visit I also saw that they stand behind there work and truly respect and value the customer's time should something they are doing result in an inconvenience. Not every dealership is willing make a gesture that helps make things right with the customer, but this team does. Tom's demeanour and professionalism made what could have been a trying and somewhat stressful service visit, an unexpected delight. He was patient, thorough and ensured all the work progressed as planned. Based on this experience I can only conclude that their reputation for customer care is not just hype...it's the real deal! More
