From my understanding, Mazda follows up at the dealership if a bad experience has happened. After my bad experience, which I wrote up on here previously, Mark Carver, general manager, phoned my to see what the problem was. After telling him my problem with Crown Mazda, he decided that it was all right as a general manager to yell and scream at me on the phone, I'm assuming that he had to answer to Mazda about my grievance. The heated argument lasted around ten minutes where I learned that he knew very little about the mechanical aspect of a vehicle. By the end of the argument, I knew that it was his way or no way, and dealing with him was quite a bit like dealing with a child going through a temper tantrum. He kept insisting how right he was because he was general manager for so many years, and he kept bringing up the fact that he was general manager. It was a warranty issue that we were arguing about, he gave me false information, the staff at Crown Mazda gave me false information. The next day Mark emailed me and told me the staff was to blame for everything. Such a good general manager this character is. At the end of the phone conversation or the follow up email, did Mark ever offer to reimburse my partially?? --- no. Did Mark ever apologize for pulling a temper tantrum on me?? ---- no. I'm guessing that Mark Carver can be a very nice person, considering everything goes his way. I'm guessing too that he may be quite a bit of a sweet talker with Mazda in order to have held his job at Crown Mazda. But obviously he will never back a customer up. I do like my Mazda but it will be my last Mazda, dealing with people like Mark Carver just isn't worth the hassle. More

Can not trust his word for anything. The experience was extremely stressful because he was trying to make a buck as much as possible. You know, the typical sales person that does not care about anything but their self. Made promises that were false or couldn't keep. What an awful experience. More
Have service work done here only if you have unlimited funds I have a 2012 Mazda 3 with just 20,000 kms. The air conditioning was not blowing very cold air, just cool air. The service department assured me that I have a 2012 Mazda 3 with just 20,000 kms. The air conditioning was not blowing very cold air, just cool air. The service department assured me that the a/c issue would very likely be covered under warranty, but they never did commit themselves to saying that is was indeed under warranty. So I allowed the shop to look at my a/c to which they found no leaks or explanation to my low refrigerant. They topped off the refrigerant and so far it is blowing cold air. However, Crown Mazda told me that they contacted Mazda and Mazda refused to warranty my car. The car was in the shop for about 35 minutes, had 18 dollars of freon put in and I was handed a repair bill for 375 dollars. Apparently the labour rate of 119.00 which is posted on their bills have no meaning whatsoever. My labor charged for just over half an hour just under 300 dollars and I had a misc. charge of 30 dollars. I see that Crown Mazda will not go up to bat for you at all regarding warranty work and they are not shy at all at over charging. Your best bet is to find some other place that will treat you fairly, this definitely is not the place. More
use caution when dealing with this business Be careful. These guys like to play with words. Promises become explainations of "what they meant". You'll get sticker price with minimum trade in. When I bought my car 11 months ago, I started with Wes. Very happy and friendly. When I found a car I liked he sent me someone else to crunch numbers. I forget his name, but excellent as well. I decided it Very happy and friendly. When I found a car I liked he sent me someone else to crunch numbers. I forget his name, but excellent as well. I decided it was just outside my financial range. No problem, he had the perfect car in mind. And it was. I love it. I've since brought it back for multiple oil changes. I paid between 60-70 when I brought it to a different service place. I pay about 40 at the Mazda dealership. And unlike the other service stop, Mazda washes my car, and has topped up my windshield washer fluid twice. You also get to sit in the lounge with the coffee, ect. I am very happy with my purchase and continued service I get with the dealership! More

We recently purchased a CX-5 GT at Crown Mazda and were totally pleased with the experience, from the professionalism, honesty and friendliness of Brendon Price, our sales rep to Mark Carver the Sales Mana totally pleased with the experience, from the professionalism, honesty and friendliness of Brendon Price, our sales rep to Mark Carver the Sales Manager/Finance Manager. Even the receptionist and other staff always greeted us and treated us like valued customers. We have never even looked at Mazda's before and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the vehicle and the value provided - plus the zoom, zoom drive of course! Brendon was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking at as wellas the competition which greatly assisted us in our decision making. Crown Mazda is a smaller dealership that gave us very professional, personal (not smarmy) service. We had visited a lot of other dealerships in the preceeding weeks and Crown Mazda stood out. We would strongly recommend Crown Mazda if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. More
