From the really fun and impressive test drive that demonstrated the spirit of the Mazda, to the thoroughness of the financial side, the experience of buying a new car from Destination Mazda was truly positive and effortless. Brendon's friendliness, confidence and genuine nature made us feel comfortable having him as our salesperson. Much effort was put into building common ground between us and we appreciated that. He was helpful in determining specifically what we were looking for in a vehicle, explaining all of the features of the car and answering any questions that we might have. We always felt like we were getting honest answers and not persuaded or pressured into buying. James was also a real pleasure to work with, very amusing and good-natured. James made us feel like a friend coming in for a chat. He went over the financing options with us, explained the different warranties and vehicle protection packages, and helped us to choose one that suited our needs. Everything was explained very clearly in a step by step process. Also, we thought it was interesting that James gave his opinion on different options. He didn't just say, here is what's available, what do you want? He asked questions and gave us good reasons why we might want certain things and not others. We thought the pricing was fair and we were happy with the 0% interest deal. We would definitely recommend the Destination Mazda dealership; the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Specifically we would recommend Brendon in sales and James in the finance department. We were impressed with the Mazda 3 sport and were confident that it was the vehicle for us, but we also WANTED to buy the vehicle from these two gentlemen because of their excellent customer service that went above and beyond. They seem to make a really great team. In fact the whole experience was really fun! Thanks again! ;) Tanys & Derek & Astrid & Willow (The only thing we would suggest is if you decide to get the fabric protection and undercoating, wait a few days before picking up your vehicle, because there was a really strong chemical smell inside and outside the vehicle. We picked up our vehicle the same day it was done and it took a few days for the smell to go away.) More

I have 3 vehicles and all of them i kept it with original brand parts. I do not go to backyard mechanic always with a dealership. The MIATA that i drive only in the summertime probably three mths./yr is always get serviced at Mr. Lube but this time since i had this car five years ago i decided to have it done with a Mazda dealership. I wanted to keep it with original Mazda parts if any is defective. And the experienced i had with DESTINATION Mazda is so bad that i will never go back there again, ever again. The mechanic working on my car dinged the passenger side tire fender cover, the car that i do not use as much per year, took it to a dealership and got dinged, not only that they did not even put a plastic cover on my car seat and my car mat is dis-organized, it came off the hook where it was before it went in, i hated this Dealership so much that i am writing this bad experience to warn others. Now i brought it down to another dealership to get it fix, though it is going to get repaired at dealership expense, it will never be the same. My first time there and will be my last time. Stay away from this one. More
I insist with every Mazda owner I meet that they must go to Desination Mazda. The service experience provided is the best option for Mazda service in Winnipeg. Ron made the experience of purchasing the vehicle genuinely fun which it should be. James, who handled the financing, was also very friendly and made every effort to structure a good deal for my wife and I. Fortunately James also had a good sense of humour and was very informative which kept the paperwork much less intimidating.Scott,the sales manager, was personally involved which made the dealership seem like a team. Scott even put in my granddaughter's car seat for us. We left feeling both happy with our new car and the experience of purchasing it. Being a First time car owner I was very hesitant to purchase a brand new car. I have spent 6 months researching, hearing opinions, checking options, looking into car backgrounds and of course, checking purchase a brand new car. I have spent 6 months researching, hearing opinions, checking options, looking into car backgrounds and of course, checking dealers. 4 Months ago I knew I wanted to buy Mazda, and for months test drove, checked and compared New, Used and Almost every model trying to find that "perfect" car. Originally i had been dealing with another dealership but after Speaking with Thea and knowing from speaking with him that I had his assurance he could help me find that one, I figured I would give the guys at Destination Mazda a chance to make good on it. Living across the City of Winnipeg and working in the opposite side as well from them, they knew they had to make the effort and quite frankly they did and beyond. From the Moment I arrived and met Thea it felt like I was simply running into an old friend I had not seen in a long time. The Atmosphere was relaxed, quiet and any "stupid" questions (in my own opinion they were) he was happy to answer and not only did he explain but would show me so that I not only knew it but would know where it was for the future. When it came to the test drive Thea didn't ask what kind of car I wanted and then grabbed the keys for another car, he asked "Which car do you want to take?" and it was the car I wanted that we took out. After a smooth test drive we returned and discussed options. Thea ensured I would have everything I wanted and went to the Big Boss to get me the best pricing based not only on my wants, but my needs. He returned smiling and with a great price. From there I met James Kosteck the Finance Manager and again, like seeing an old friend. James was relaxed and yet professional in that he discussed options with me, ensured I was comfortable and happy. We sent off my information to the banks and he contacted me a few hours later to give me the good news that I was approved. I left a $500.00 deposit on the car to hold it for me that way My Car, would not be gone if I returned. (It would have been refunded had I chosen not to take the car) He knew I was busy at work and that it was a journey for me to get to the dealership and so he sent me a package via email (and one he knew I could see on my cell phone as well for convenience sake) so I could review Additional Warranties, information and pricing. (We had discussed warranties earlier and he even demonstrated some of them so I would understand). I called him a two days later after having time to think about it and confirmed what my choice was. he had it pulled into the shop for the extended warranty checkup and maintenance as well as being looked over by their Certified technicians to ensure there would be no problems. I arrived after work that day and my car was waiting for me in the shop drying after being freshly cleaned and filled up with a tank of gas. While I signed paperwork and ensured everything was as quoted, Thea surprised me by pulling my car into the Showroom while I was occupied and in the comfort of the building's quiet (and air conditioning, was terribly muggy outside) he went over the car with me and ensured I was comfortable. (They also placed a Giant Gift Bow on the roof of the car which made it an amazing present to myself.) Overall my experience was unforgettable, the staff were always friendly, knowledgeable and happy to assist me. I am very happy with my purchase and proud to be a 2011 Mazda 3 Driver and owner. With my extended warranty I rest well knowing if the unthinkable happens to my car I will be able to go back there and they will take expert care of it for me. I Strongly recommend a Mazda and greatly encourage you to come down to Destination Mazda. Ask for Thea and he'll make sure he helps you on your journey for the perfect car. Thanks again Destination Mazda for helping me make a tough decision and it feels great to know I have no regrets. (Though I sometimes wonder if I should have gone with the Moonroof.... =P ) More
I went for service before a road trip. That was done efficiently while I waited. During the wait, I asked Aron to give me some tire prices. An appointment was made for the next day (June 30). Getting ready for the road trip, I had much running around/errands to do and while I waited for the tire replacement, I wandered the showroom. A friendly salesperson approached and asked how he could help me. I thanked him and said I was waiting for my car to be serviced, but it would be very helpful if I could use a car or test drive a car for an hour or so to get one of my errands done. Five minutes later I drove off test driving an '08 Mazda 3. Destination Mazda has consistently treated me exceptionally well - better than any other dealership in my 45 + years of driving/car ownership. I have purchased or leased 4 vehicles there and have never had a bad experience; in fact, each time it is always a pleasure. I service my cars regularly, and always there. Aron runs the best service department anywhere, in my opinion. He and his staff somehow appear to really care for and about each of their customers. Thank you for doing a great job. This was my first new car purchase, so I knew it had to be a memorable and special car. So when I went to Destination Mazda for the first time and they found me a white 2011 Mazda Mx-5, I knew I had to get it. The service was very good and the salesman Sothea was very helpful and informative, and its didn't hurt that he had taste for nice cars. James in the financing department was also top notch making the paperwork quick and painless. I'll end this review saying that I highly recommend Destination Mazda for anyones car purchase new or used, I've been to a lot of dealers and they are up there on the great customer service which seems to be rare these days in my opinion. But Sir James Kosteck never gave up on my application, he kept on pushing and pushing until one day it went through, and here i am so happy with my wife because of the new mazda 2 car. I really can't express enough my gratitude to James, Ron and the rest of the guys who helped us on this.
