Kenny won me over from “The Dark Side” For a long while, being very skeptical of car dealerships, I bought used cars privately and used local service shops. One afternoon out of idle curiosity, I wandered into Courtesy and was directed to Kenny Haynes. Kenny surprised me with the number of questions he asked about my wants and needs in a car before we went into the lot. He then showed me several cars and options, no pressure at all. I could tell that he was a serious car guy and not just trying to impress a new customer. Then he proceeded to flash some very good prices at me. I happily bought a car that day and decided to try their service as well. That was about 25 years and 10 cars ago, all through Kenny and Courtesy Ford (please look up my review of their service). Kenny knows and values his customers. When he got delivery of a car that might interest me, he would leave a short phone message and wait for a callback. Usually, his deals were attractive enough to at least have a quick look and often timely enough to actually consider trading up. And Kenny works for you day and night, ...literally day and night. One evening after business hours, he called to tell me that next day delivery was delayed because service discovered an item that needed attention before releasing the car. He explained the details and apologized for the inconvenience; he simply didn't want me coming in and being disappointed. Through the years, this has all been “ Standard Operational Procedure” for Kenny. The first time I spoke to Carol was late on Friday afternoon and although the dealership was closing she offered to stay later to meet with us which w The first time I spoke to Carol was late on Friday afternoon and although the dealership was closing she offered to stay later to meet with us which was appreciated. I had several questions, all of which were answered on a couple of vehicle we were looking at. I also did a couple of follow up visits as this was a large purchase for us. I had the feeling on the second visit that Carol didn't think that I was serious about buying a used car and that I would probably buy new from the Toronto area. This could be because the price was quite high with little pricing flexibility. I waited for a few weeks and returned after I saw the car online allot cheaper than the dealer had originally priced it. And when I returned, the dealer still had the old price on the windshield. The used car sales manager helped on the visit because Carol wouldn't be in until later that day. Carol followed up with several things that we asked for, like repairing a dent (which wasn't there when we purchased) and getting a second set of keys which were misplaced. All in all, Carol was very helpful and I would buy a vehicle from her in the future. Thanks very much Carol for you help! More
