cobourg mazda tried to get out of honoring my warranty claim. I had paid for the extended warranty on the power train when buying the used vehicle. Service department claimed that the component had been damaged by another mechanic and they wanted 1700,00 for the work. I said no and went to another independent shop. they looked and said it was ridiculous to suggest that someone had caused damage and did the repair for 257.00. this is the second time this dealership tried not to honor my warranty.
