Although I didn't purchase my new truck from Charlesglen, you can bet that if I do decide to purchase a Toyota again in the future, I will most definitely purchase from Charlesglen Toyota. If for only one reason, then because of the quality of service I have received from the people in their service department. Dan Wilson, a service adviser at Charlesglen, is awesome! He really is. Without question he has to be the best service adviser I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. He's knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and helpful. He understands how complicated some of this technology is, and the importance of the details; properly identifying the issues, then clearly communicating these same issues and/or solutions with both the mechanics and customers. Another person I would like to mention is John Perri, the shop foreman in their service department. When Dan saw that I was still experiencing some small issues with my truck, (a rattle in the headliner/roof of my truck that only rattled on rough roads, in the cold... sometimes...), he then introduced me to John. John and I went for a road test, and although it wouldn't rattle with him in the truck!, he took it back to one of their mechanics and a few hours later they fixed it. My point is this; I have better things to do then right great reviews for any person, or company, unless there is a really good reason to do so. Believe me, I have other things to do with my time. However, when there is someone, or some company, that has done something very well, especially when others have failed miserably, I have to give credit where credit is due. And, Charlesglen Toyota, the people they employ, are doing a wonderful job. A company is only as good as the people they employ. So, when I spend my hard-earned money on a vehicle I hope it's worth it. However, if something goes wrong, and it happens, then I expect that same company to help. In my case, Country Hills Toyota was happy to sell me the new truck, then a new lift-kit (suspension upgrade), new exhaust, wheels & tires, etc... ,however, when things started to go wrong their service department, their commitment, and their service, failed repeatedly. The service department at Charlesglen stepped up and I am grateful. Thank you Charlesglen and thank you Dan ! Sincerely, Brad Rooksby More

When I was there a few times, John always provided me complete exhaustive information about my vehicle. He explains absolutely everything. He knows and can explain how engine works and where to look for troubles there. I recommend him to examine your vehicle. He is always busy because he is a professional and he spends a lot of time for your vehicle inspection. Thank you John! More

I purchased my car from Charlesglen and also purchased 7 years extended warranty. This warranty I was told all the rosy things at the time of purchase is supposed to cover bumper to bumper. While dropping my car this morning I mentioned to Alex a problem I am noticing for last few weeks. My car is push button start and some times it doesn't sense key right away and senses after some time. We changed battery just last month too. Alex indicated a charge of $69.99 to $139.99. When I asked what this is for, first of all he seemed in some kind of rush and answered me for something I did not ask. He said in a raised voice that it will take half an hour to an hour. When I said I meant to ask what these numbers are for then he said it is for diagnosis. When I reminded him that I have extended warranty, he said this charge will be waived after they prove the warranty. I asked him to check in system. He said that he knows I do have warranty but he needs to prove that it covers this. I asked him to verify and let me know so I can decide whether to get it diagnosed or not. But he said it doesn't work like that and his tone was very rude. He was trying to show me if I am some kind of stupid. I told him that I need to talk to the manager and he told me manager is not there and he is the manager. I am really frustrated with this attitude today. I have to admit that I didn't have this kind of experience with Charlesglen before. I am not sure if the business lost due to recession is being made up from loyal customers. I always go to Charlesglen to get my Venza serviced. But being treated this way was completely unexpected and unacceptable. On top of that when I asked for shuttle service I was told that it will take 90minutes. I live in Royal Oak itself and waiting 90 minutes didn't make sense so I had to call my friend for ride. I hope this feedback will help Charlesglen Toyota reinstate the service that I have been receiving in past and is expected from a big dealership. More

Complimentary coffee, free shuttle to and from home, friendly counter people, and a car wash with each visit. Yesterday I had the oil and lube plus the cleaning of my car inside. Such a good job and the cleaning was only 49 dollars. More

This is the 4th time I have brought my vehicle in where I was billed for work that was either not completed or not completed to expectations. One time for a loose cargo box that I had to return the next day. Twice my bill said the tires were rotated and pressure checked. Yet 1 km down the road my pressure sensor light came on And now my replaced windscreen leaks. Yesterday I called my service advisor to discuss the issues. She wasn't available so I left a message I did not get a call back. I know everyone makes mistakes but I am now questioning the integrity of service at Charlesglen. Suggest that everyone double checks that they get the service that they are billed for. I received the truck More
Major 32,000Km Service accomplished with ease Arrived at the service centre in good time for the service which I was pre-warned when I booked it would take most of the day. As always a most friend Arrived at the service centre in good time for the service which I was pre-warned when I booked it would take most of the day. As always a most friendly greeting from Mark McQueen, Senior Service Advisor. He gave me a detailed run-down on what was to be checked and/or replaced. No surprises at all when I returned at 4:00 p.m. to recover my 2013 Tacoma 4X4. Mark had adjusted a couple of the charges to reflect the true amount of time that the various checks, etc. had done for which I was very impressed and grateful. All in all an excellent experience and that means I will be returning when the next 5,000Km oil change is due. When you get treated cheerfully, professionally and fairly - why go anywhere else? More
