The first truck had a fairly pain free negotiation, no high pressure sales tactics and a knowledgeable advisor not only about capitals available makes and models but also about competing makes and models and the benefits and disadvantages each one has; I was able to get the truck I wanted at a rate and payment that was amenable to both parties (when negotiations seemed to stall my salesman simply asked “where is it you need to be to be comfortable with this purchase” and came back with a number as close as he could reasonably be expected to get to it. Luckily, I was informed for my second purchase that my company had access to preferred pricing, and that there was really no room for negotiation as if the dealer had overcharged me for my vehicle, they would need to return the additional charged as “preferred pricing is only slightly “worse” then the GM employee pricing. Brought the vehicle back after 6 weeks as we had a screw in the wall of the tire and needed a replacement tire. Unbelievable that they have no tires in stock for one of the most common of their own vehicles they sell on their forecourt. To add insult to injury, when I went back for the vehicle, I was abruptly told : " it will be at least a week to get a replacement tire for the vehicle, after all it is a long weekend you know". Not even apologetic at all and now we have a vehicle with a space saver on it and completely unusable for our business which requires a good amount of KMs each week. Very poor service, customer skills and empathy totally lacking. More
