First off I visited this dealership on two occasion. The first occasion was a bad experience. They had a truck in the showroom that had a sticker price on it. I do not recall the price. I went in to see a salesman and when I asked about that particular vehicle he told me that the sticker price was not the price. It was quite a bit more as he said they added extras onto the truck that were not reflected in the sticker price. I asked why the sticker price was still on the truck window and I was told it was marketing. I left the dealership and vowed never to go back again. However a couple of weeks ago they had a page add in a local newspaper advertising a Ford F-350 for $44,900. When I went into see them about it once again I was told that was not the price. The price was $49,000.00. They told me that the reason they advertise that was is because there was $2,500.00 that a person could have got if they brought in a trade in vehicle that would fall into the category of recycle your ride and $1,600.00 for freight. I have no problem paying the freight. There is no place in the add that refers to the Recycle Your Ride program. I am quite upset at that but I purchase the vehicle. After I leave the dealership and I am at home I get a call from the dealership that they forgot to give me the $1,000.00 no charge accessories. I have to go back to the dealership and pick out the options. I got a copy of the options and took them home to decide what I wanted. The list for me was so limited as the truck I bought had a lot of the options that was offers to me on the truck already. I pick out the options that I want and let the dealership know what they are. On Saturday April 13/2013 I took it in to get the options put on the truck. When I went and picked the truck up I was flabbergasted at the seat protectors that were in the truck. The cost for these seat covers were approximately $280.00 and I am sure they went down to a tent retail store and purchased them. They were not at all what I thought I was getting for the price that was placed on them. The value to me was less than $50.00. They were not the color I was expecting. I asked for a charcoal and I got a grey. Maybe that is what Ford calls charcoal. I was expecting black. The seat covers don't even fit properly. They look terrible. When I looked at these, what Ford calls seat covers, I never thought they would look like that. To make matters worse I referred a another young fellow into the dealership ( I wished now I never did that and I never will refer anyone to this dealership again) and he was offered the Costco discount and when I asked about my Costco discount I was told it was in the price. I have been in business for over 30 years and if I ever used these sales tactics to get someone in the door I would not be able to sleep at night and if my salesman ever use these tactics they would be freed up for better opportunities. I had a very good experience will Dylan Lawrence as he was very new as a car salesman but he followed up with me on getting my vehicle in to get my $1,000.00 option package put on the truck. I spoke with Dylan afer I left the dealership and I told him that if he ever left the dealership for him to call me as I will deal with him as a salesman. As well I told him that I maybe looking for a few service vehicles but unfortunately they will not be purchased at Capital. I have purchased all my personnel trucks from Ford as I prefer Ford trucks over any other truck. In Regina there are other Ford dealerships nd that is where my business will go. I anticipate a reply to this either from the person whom this experience is being sent to or someone from Ford. I dealt with Matt McMillan and Blayne Morrow and both were very courteous, honest and knowledgeable. We started emailing Brent about buying a truck and he was very prompt in replying whenever we emailed him. We set up a time and date to meet but because of the weather that weekend things just never wor was very prompt in replying whenever we emailed him. Upon walking into the deAalership we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. I asked to speak to Brent. She said he was on holidays but if someone else could help, she would find someone.. I asked her to find someone who is friendly and would sell us a truck She saw Joe standing close and said that he was our man and she was right. From the time he was introduced to us until the time we drove out with our new truck he was as nice and friendly as anyone wehave ever met. Any time we had a question he had the answer and it didn't matter which one of asked the question he responded to whomever asked it. That really impressed me as we have had bad experiences with other salesmen. We sat down in his office and figured out where to start and within an hour we had looked at several different trucks and decided on the one that we purchased. Joe was always smiling and courteous. After we came to pick up the truck after the options we wanted were installed, Joe spent at least an hour going over everything in the truck and exactly how everything worked. We were very impressed. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. We liked the no dicker buying and Adrien was excellent in explaining all the costs and where he could give us a break on certain options. Jason was also top notch in explaining the financing part of the deal and how he was able to get us a better interest rate than what the bank wanted. I would highly reccomend Capital Ford to anyone. The service that I received from Jon and Adrien was the best I think that I have ever had when purchasing a new car or anything else for that matter. It took me a little longer than normal to make my decision, over 2 years to be exact and never once did I feel any pressure from Jon or Adrien. Nor was I ever made to feel that I was a bother to them or driving them nuts! Their knowledge of the product and ability to make sense of everything I needed in a truck was awesome. I used to be in car sales and they did exactly what I would have done to make a deal....they built a relationship with me and made me feel welcome every time that I went into the store. To me there is nothing more important than relationships with people especially when spending the amount of money that my wife and I did on our new truck. There was no question ever in my mind that when we did finally decide to buy something that it would be from Jon and Adrien it was just a matter of when it worked for us. They understood this and made me feel like it was ok to be the slowest buyer in the world! The whole experience was great after the guys and I decided on the numbers then dealing with Martin was also a great experience no pressure and very helpful. Having filled out the form it was only a matter of hours before Dianne contacted me, she guided me through the process while all the time keeping me up to date and never leaving me in the dark. After only a couple of days I was in the dealership speaking to Brett, who is one of the best salesman I've had dealings with, he kept me informed at all times, he explained everything to me step by step, was very knowledgeable about the ford product. Jason the led me through the financing package explaining everything there was to explain so I didn't feel out of pocket or as though I was being ripped off. He found the right package for me and my budget and I appreciate all his, Brett's and Diane's work during the whole process. More
