I dealt with Brian and Raman and both were very laid back, personable and worked hard to get me what I wanted. I met with the parts guys and they were happy to welcome me to the jeep family and show me all the possibilities I could do to get the most out of my vehicle. I would definitely recommend capitol dodge. Great service, great people. Everybody should be able to walk out with as big a smile as I did, and am still wearing! More
Extremely poor service I recently took in our 2014 Ram which is having a problem with the electronics in the driver's door. The doors lock automatically within a few seconds I recently took in our 2014 Ram which is having a problem with the electronics in the driver's door. The doors lock automatically within a few seconds after unlocking, the lock/unlock buttons in driver's door were inoperable, and doors also locked when adjusting the drivers window. Seemed obvious to me and to Nick Hall, the service adviser, that there was a problem with the driver's door control unit or switches which needed investigated. At same time we are burning out light bulbs regularly in the cab tail light(or box illumination, there are three lights in that fixture in total). After leaving the truck with them for the day I was told it was ready to pick up, as soon as I unlocked the truck, a few seconds later the doors locked again. Upon confronting Nick Hall, the service adviser, he talked to the tech and the tech claimed there were no issues with the truck. He also showed in the report no codes when scanned. Maybe that is because the tech showed he was playing with the power seats instead of looking at the locks. I showed them both again the same issues I had showed Nick when I dropped off the truck. Upon taking the truck to another dealership it only took an hour for them to diagnose the issue with the locks and order parts. There were also many codes logged in the system for both of the problems which were fully shown in their report. Obviously the tech at Capital Dodge did not even scan for trouble codes. I know now I was lied to and my time was definitely wasted. I cannot understand why I wasn't phoned when the tech could not see the issue. I was told by the tech "it doesn't really matter what stories you tell me". Excuse me, stories? That was insulting, as a customer and an engineer I know how electronics work and I don't tell stories when I take a vehicle in to get fixed. Its there because there is an issue to be fixed. I had service in the past at this dealership and was unhappy with it, 2 hours to do an oil change when you have an appointment? Really?, I gave them another chance but will never waste my time again with Capital Dodge. The best example of wasting my time though is their sales team, when asked about their deals on new trucks I was greeted with "lets price out a truck so how about we go to the web and look up the MSRP price. Seriously? I can do that myself at home. We have purchased 5 dodge vehicles in the past 10 years, Capital would have been in the running to get some of that business if they had just been honest with us and tried to earn our business like other dealerships do by cutting to the chase and not trying to start at the MSRP. Noone pays MSRP. In one word, incompetent. I would give 0 starts as a rating if possible More

Poor Service I bought a jeep in February from this place, recently I found that the soft top has tears that I was not informed of at the time of purchase and this I bought a jeep in February from this place, recently I found that the soft top has tears that I was not informed of at the time of purchase and this dealership was unwilling to even try to get BEST-TOP to warranty it for me, all they said is that its "damage not a defect" and not even willing to ATTEMPT to get warranty for me. I feel this is poor service, especially when I went to a dodge dealer in NWO and dodge THEMSELVES was willing to replace the top for me and did send me a new one after seeing the pics. Unfortunately the top dodge sent was a factory model and isn't the same model as the upgraded BEST-TOP that was sold with my jeep. Dodge told me to come back to capital dodge to get them to warranty it with BEST-TOP nut like I said they are unwilling to even TRY! pissed off customer. $50, 000 for a jeep and cant even take the roof off! What a Joke! More

Chris got me a great price and dealing with him was low pressure and hassle-free, unlike salesmen I've dealt with in the past at other dealerships. I had a spray-in box liner installed before taking possession of the truck and dealt with Eric and Brian in parts. The liner was sprayed properly and the truck was ready when promised. I've already referred a friend to Chris. More

The problem in my car was accurately tracked down to a defective part, but I had a mixed experience with this dealer when bringing my car for service. The problem in my car was accurately tracked down to a defective part, but the work done to replace the part leaves me with an impression of bad quality of work. In a few words, the part was replaced, but something else was broken. To me this is unacceptable, and means no supervision, and not enough testing. Despite this bad experience with the repair job, the attention provided by the service advisor compensated it by providing a loaner car while the repair was done, and providing detailed explanations and updates. More
