Purchased a used 2014 370Z sport touring site unseen, from the Eastern side of the country while away on vacation. I purchased a 3rd party pre purchase vehicle inspection, with inspectacar in Calgary, the car came back flawless and the dealership was commended for their inspection coming back the same as inspectacar, and Maxine took the car for the appointment as well. Maxine has always stayed in contact answering my calls or texts with any concerns and mitigating them, and I would buy from this dealership again. I’ve purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and this was the smoothest transaction, paperwork sent via email for signature, and they even held the vehicle for me for a 45 days now on there lot, as I’m away out of the province for work, while I arrange pickup. 10/10 even though I don’t live in Calgary, I’d make the drive for another vehicle transaction. This service wasn't even worth 1 star, but that's the lowest that I can rate, so.. The girl on the phone said that can be done and even better, I wouldn't be charged anything as it's just a software upgrade, so I scheduled a service appointment. When I got there, the person who was checking in my car asked why is was there. I again explained that I wanted my radio upgraded so that I could have the Apple CarPlay functionality added. He booked it in and I sat in the waiting area for 1.5 hours. They called my name, so I went to the Service Desk and was presented with an invoice for more than $200. I was upset as I was told that it would be free, but I paid because I really wanted the upgraded functionality. I went to my car and tested both Bluetooth and USB. but the radio was exactly the same. No new functionality. In fact, it was still connected to my phone via Bluetooth, so obviously no upgrade to the software was done. The invoice stated that they did an update to a newer version on the same infotainment software and that's why they charged me over $200, but updates are available over the air, for no charge. I am obviously VERY angry at them charging me over $200 and gaining NO NEW FUNCTIONALITY and refusing to do anything about it. I just bought this car a few days ago and had intended on using this dealership to do all my maintenance to maintain my third party warranty, but that will obviously no longer happen. If I have my way, I will make sure as many people as possible are warn away from this dealership and I guess I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I was NOT given the service that I paid for. More

I test drove 10 vehicles before settling on the Buick Encore GX... The value for money for what I was looking for was aligned close to my budget. A friend of mine incentivized me to look at GM cars an Encore GX... The value for money for what I was looking for was aligned close to my budget. A friend of mine incentivized me to look at GM cars and I wanted to test drive a Chevy Trailblazer. However, on the day I had my mom to help me with my decision, the Mazda dealership had kept us until almost closing despite my appointment with Capital. With only 30 minutes left at the dealership, we met with Logan who allowed us to test drive what I eventually bought, the 2023 Buick Encore GX (Essence). Logan joined us for the test drive instead of the typical solo travel. He showed us all of the features in the car and knew everything about it. The beige leather interior was a rare send from the manufacturers, with many other features that made me feel like I was living in the future. I loved the multiple cameras, (including overhead view) and the lane assist feature with adaptive cruise control. The feature that sold me was the rear view digital mirror, which dimmed the lights from behind instead of blinding you with obnoxious high beams from behind on the highway. Logan was very personable, stayed later than his shift and was polite and respectful the whole experience. His laid-back Vancouver attitude made it easy to want to do business with him. I never even ended up test driving the Chevy Trailblazer because I was so sold on the Encore GX. The Mazda dealership had a fellow who was less than amenable, whose jokes weren't landing and who had a bit of a pushy attitude. When I got to Capital, Logan was cool but knowledgeable, and a contrast from what my mom and I just experienced at Mazda. I enjoyed the other vehicles I drove, but I really felt a sense of affordable luxury with the encore GX... I grew up in Temple, with a single mother for most of my childhood and so having something nice is very appreciated. This car being the biggest purchase of my life thus far, I am very happy with it. Both Logan and Nizar were very helpful at Capital and gave advice on what was useful and what was not, and provided reasonable opportunities for deals given the end of a slow sales month (January). I was skeptical about some of the decisions I made but they were patient. Nizar even brought me breakfast, where otherwise I might have been too stressed figuring out the financial situation. Logan was especially helpful and should be given special attention for the way he treats his customers. He goes above and beyond what is expected of him and stayed beyond his shift each visit (since my work and physio kept me late). If he didn't explain the features and give me peace of mind on the vehicle, I would have been less inclined to purchase it. I found his story relatable, and he didn't have a gimmicky car salesman attitude. I was impressed by the service I got at Capital and hope the people who helped me get the recognition they deserve. More
