I would rather drive a screwdriver through my foot than go buying and looking at cars. So I was absolutely dreading the experience. To cap it all, I had really liked my previous car, and it was gone. And I ended up being away from Calgary on two different trips. So I had a brainwave: Why not try Capital? To take a step back: Six months previously, after trying another local dealership unsuccessfully with three repeated visits to repair my previous GMC, in desperation I turned to Capital (at the time they were still Southgate Chev). They simply made the problem go away, at no cost to me. After this most pleasant experience, 6 months before, I thought - why not try them for a new car? I told them my preference was for a recent pre-owned Acadia Denali, and that's exactly what they found me - by the next day. After my return from California, one test drive was all that was needed. Completely satisfied, and what an amazing car. They took care of the rest - finance, licensing, briefing me in detail about all the new features. Nothing was too much trouble.
