Transparent Buying Process was Just What I Wanted! I really appreciate the service and help provided by the staff at Calgary Hyundai! We worked with Fuji during the Sales process and completed the financial side with Nikky - both were wonderful! My biggest challenge when purchasing a vehicle is the transparency when it comes to the transaction. I am a planner by nature and I like to weight my options in advance of a purchase, particularly one of this size. Most dealerships have a hard time coming up with a firm number that they can stick to, but not the case with Fuji and the Hyundai Calgary team. We paid the same price that was quoted the day we first walked through the showroom and didn't have to argue for it; Fuji simply honored the price point and inclusions. We feel this says a lot about the dealership and their staff. While this aspect was most important to the buying experience for myself and my wife, the staff at Calgary Hyundai were professional and qualified in all other areas as well. In particular, a kudos to Nikky for continuing the pressure/haggle-free portion of the financial transaction and Jack for sending us off with a smile when everything wrapped up and we were set to drive off. All-in-all we have been driving the vehicle (2017 Hyundai Tuscon, pre-owned with 57,000 KMs) for just over a week and are very pleased with it. There are a few nicks and chips that we would prefer not be there, but that is part and parcel with a used vehicle. Beyond this, it runs well and will be honored under the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty, which is a great perk for a used buyer to have some additional security with the purchase. Time will tell how the vehicle performs in the long-run, but Fuji, Nikky and Jack made sure that we definitely got started on the right foot! Cheers to years of driving our Hyundai Tuscon! poor representation of Hyundai Canada In August I had an extremely negative experience at Calgary Hyundai during the final signing of a purchase contract with the sales manager working tha In August I had an extremely negative experience at Calgary Hyundai during the final signing of a purchase contract with the sales manager working that day. Ironically this was one of their special customer appreciation days. I had several prior visits, test drives, and negotiation sessions with a sales representative. Finally that last morning the sales person, sales manager and I shook hands on a final deal, including price, rate, and extra options. Then the lying, attempted bullying, trying to sneak through changes to that final sales contract, interest rate changes, and overal final price discrepancy resulted in me walking out of that dealership. Even explaining all this to the general manager of Calgary Hyundai later through an initial email exchange sent out asking about my overall experience never resulted in any form of explanation for his sales managers actions. I even explained I had copies of all the prior paperwork done in their writing showing the price and rate we all agreed on initially. After walking into Precision within an hour of leaving Calgary Hyundai, and meeting Dusty, going through the whole sales process again, having everything explained up front, and being treated with respect, I purchased that exact same Tucson that same afternoon. Hyundai Canada should be concerned with this dealership team representing their product and only thanks to Dusty and Precision Hyundai for making this Hyundai purchase the enjoyable, and exciting experience it should be. It was only the fact that I liked the product that I even went to the second dealership, otherwise I would be driving a competitors product. More
