Likely the Dealership could not have made it more difficult to buy a vehicle - they had repeated phone calls for simple things that should have been texts/emails (such as name on a bank draft) and wh difficult to buy a vehicle - they had repeated phone calls for simple things that should have been texts/emails (such as name on a bank draft) and when the concerns were brought to the General Manager he dismissed them without listening and was confrontational - good luck trying to buy something from here. But unfortunately our experience was ruined by their atrocious sales manager Alex Arbec. We actually went in ready to pay full price for a vehicle they had listed, but getting passed off to Alex, he instantly came in and started berating us. We went from extremely excited, to just wanting to get out of there. He really needs to learn how to talk to a customer, and talk with some TACT. Basically a session of him telling us how bad of decisions we have made with what we are currently driving. PS: Instead of offering $1050 for a trade in (this car is worth around 10k) just say you aren't interested. This was the start of our dealings, and it turned us off from there. PPS: Offering 2k less then your asking price on a $42k vehicle is not a "Lowball", especially one that has a $21,000 collision claim on it. 0/10 - Do not pass go, would not recommend, will be buying a similar vehicle from another dealer. Our interaction with Calgary Honda sales department was an absolutely disappointingly dreadful experience. We had regularly patronized this dealership’s service department for the past seven years - in f an absolutely disappointingly dreadful experience. We had regularly patronized this dealership’s service department for the past seven years - in fact the excellent service was the reason we wanted to also purchase a new Honda HR-V from here as well. Yet several times when we wandered over to the sales department we were totally ignored even though we were the only potential customers in the sales area, leaving us no option but to make an online appointment for a test drive. From beginning to end we were left with the unsettling feeling our business was not valued nor appreciated. We were given a bunch of loose papers, not even in a folder, no brochures, only photocopies. It just all seemed cheap and shoddy. Then as we waited for the delivery of our ordered vehicle nothing better occurred to change our minds. I’m happy that our deposit was refunded without a battle so we visited another local Honda dealership to purchase our Honda where the entire sales experience was positive, polite and respectful, a night and day difference. More
Terrible service . Ridge line was still under warranty , brought it in for 3 problems that was happing periodically .Was told that if they didnt find problem i would be Ridge line was still under warranty , brought it in for 3 problems that was happing periodically .Was told that if they didnt find problem i would be charged 1 hr shop time for each issue .appox $500 .even though it took them 3 times to repair my last issue . I chose not to have service done , it took 13 emails in one day with service manager to acknowledge i was there and refused to pay if they couldnt find problem . It seemed like it was a joke to her . Few days before I bought CR-V from this dealership. I phoned Katie( sales manager) she was so polite and answered all my questions over the phone. Then i went to the dealership and Katie introduced me to phoned Katie( sales manager) she was so polite and answered all my questions over the phone. Then i went to the dealership and Katie introduced me to Rod he was a nice person as katie .He helped me in whole vehicle selection process . They took care of everything . Jeff helped me in financing . Moreover, Rod delivered the vehicle at my place on my request. i was in search of the vehicle from one month and had been in my dealership before this . My husband and I recently purchased a Honda CRV from Calgary Honda and were very impressed with the quality of their service. I generally cringe shopping for vehicles, however we found the Sam, our Sal Calgary Honda and were very impressed with the quality of their service. I generally cringe shopping for vehicles, however we found the Sam, our Sales Representative & Timmy our Financial Services Manager were professional, knowledgeable & friendly. There was no pressuring; only a genuine effort to ensure our experience was comfortable and fair. This dealership was overall, customer friendly. More
This is the first time I have bought a vehicle by myself, financed it by myself, picked it up sight unseen and masked! The reception at the Calgary Honda dealership was very comfortable, actually I felt lik financed it by myself, picked it up sight unseen and masked! The reception at the Calgary Honda dealership was very comfortable, actually I felt like royalty! I was greeted at the door by name, and brought to Jeffrey Kaiman’s office, where he graciously offered me tea after my long drive. Jeffrey covered all bases and told me he was my contact person at the dealership if I had any further questions. Then he proceeded to do the paperwork, and as a gift, personally paid for registration of my new car so I wouldn’t have to wait in line. While he was on the computer, the General Manager Nels Kelly stopped in to greet me and offer his services. Ryan Woltman also arrived and showed me (for the first time) my new CRV, which was in pristine condition and, after going over the controls, drove me to make sure the gas tank was full, and paid for the gas. I got my 2020 Honda Civic Si yesterday. Sam and Alex helped me to got rid of my old car with high financing interest rate. Now I'm having fun driving my brand new Si.
