Bruce Hyundai

This is probably one of the worst dealerships I've ever experienced dealing with. One of the sales reps (an acquaintance of my fiance) reached out to him to see if he wanted to check out the "deal of a lif experienced dealing with. We went in to see and test drive, the car was really nice but honestly more of a sports car than a family car and we are a young family of three looking to expand in the near future. We got back to the dealership and tried to leave and THREE people came out to tell us we were making a mistake by leaving stood close enough to our car to prevent us from being able to leave and kept us there for 10-15 minutes trying to convince us. Fast forward to multiple phone calls, text messages, and price drops we ended up agreeing to the car only to be told the day he picked it up that there was a recall that had to be "fixed" Something to do with a cap or gasket that has something to do with fuel economy. He was told it was fixed and came home with no additional recommendations or information. Upon a couple of weeks of driving we noticed that it was using a considerable amount of gas. The dealership gave him many reasons and excuses as to why. Then, a salesperson texted him to tell him he needed to bring the car in for an update, upon asking many questions we were finally told it was in relation to the recall we were told was fixed but not given much more. Upon doing our own research we found that the recall with his vehicle involves the computer program and it is in some way sending to much fuel through the engine in turn burning an UNHOLY amount of fuel. I can't describe how frustrated I am with the disgusting amount of money we have had to spend on fuel. My fiance has a considerable commute to work as well as he is a firefighter and it really is not an option to just not drive it until it is resolved. Honestly not expecting any resolution with this issue just wanted to make this seen and present this info about this dealership. Not the most upfront people I have spoken with to say the least More

Well I will never buy from any Bruce dealership ever again. I bought a new 2023 Tucson hybrid with moon roof. With out any help they hurried us out. Went down to the speedy auto glass and the guy said I just replaced one on the same car as yours and Bruce Hyundai knows all about it. So I go back to Bruce Hyundai and talk to the salesman who sold me the car. He admits they know it's an issue but Hyundai Canada won't fix it. So the service department just flat out lied to me. They wouldn't help me at all. I called the parts department for three days to order the glass they wouldn't even answer my call or return my message. I had to stop in to order.this is the worst dealership I've ever seen. I bought my first new car from the original Bruce in Middletown. That was back in 1991. My dad bought all his car's there from the same salesman his whole life. Bruce Hyundai should be ashamed of their business. I traded that Tucson for a Honda CRV hybrid and couldn't be happier. Had a great experience at Kings Honda and would encourage people to spend a little extra and buy a Honda from them. It's really a superior vehicle. Don't trust Bruce Hyundai as soon as they sell the car they won't help you. More

Worst car purchase experience in my life. Vehicle was promised by a certain date and after agreeing to purchase did not show up. They and Hyundai Canada do not care about their reputation obviously as they defended their actions. 5 people to try to sell me the vehicle and no one communicating what the other said.
