One of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had since I came to Canada - really does not represents the Canadian spirit of acceptance towards everyone (regardless of their race, gender or nationality) : I came to Canada - really does not represents the Canadian spirit of acceptance towards everyone (regardless of their race, gender or nationality) : I have called the service department on more than one occasion to have a full service, as I brought my car from this dealership. Every single time I have been informed that all they can do for me is oil change, and I’d have to go to the Hyundai service Center for anything else. Even when asked over the phone to confirm if I was due for an oil change or not. Instead of looking into my file to inform me, I was false told that I should have a sticker on my car that would let me know when my car was due. My car had no such sticker. Since service team didn’t seem friendly or helpful at all I just decided to drive for the oil change on a work day (I live an hour away and had to taking time off as I would not have time to do another day), only to be told I wasn’t due. And the service personnel just wanted to brush me away; repeating the same thing about my concern about my brake sensory warning “you would need to go to Hyundai service to have that looked at, I do not know why that is”. To which I said okay and tried to ignore the negative treatment I got. What made it so obviously discriminatory was: when I asked the sales representative (on the same day) to do an appraisal for my car. She got a detailed report of what need to be fix. Initially she was saying that my car was priced so because my brakes needed replacement among a few other things (which I am not sure were entirely true). I felt so shocked that I just had to ask the sale representative how could she know that, cos when I came in, the service department said they can’t analyze the problem. She went from my brakes “needed replacement” to they are a “bit rusted”. She also informed me that Brantford Honda provide full service (checking any and all issues) for Hyundai among other brand, and it was weird that the service department should do that to me. I just was in shock and didn’t know how to react, so I decided to leave as I did not feel safe in that space. It’s just unbelievable, first they misinform me about the sticker, then they deny me service, and lasts provide a false assessment. I really feel discriminated against and harassed. Brantford Honda popped up in my web search for a new Honda car and I had reached out through their trade in assessment. The sales person reached out to me through email and text first thing in the morning of the next day. First thing he asked was whether I was living out of Brantford to which I replied yes. He also asked if I was exchanging an existing Honda car to which I said I have a Honda car but I am not trading that in. He said that it is possible that they may not be able to sell me anything, he checked with his manager and came back saying that they cant sell me anything and that they want to keep the Brantford customers happy. I asked him what the reason was, and he said being brutally honest, you will buy something but never come back for servicing and go elsewhere. Pretty presumptuous on his/dealership's part to think that way and discriminatory practices followed by the dealer. I have reported the conversation with the employee and the dealership with Honda Canada and asked them whether they subscribe to the dealership's discriminatory practices. Let's see what they say. Here I was thinking that they can have my business as the guy was a eager beaver, texting me at 8.30 AM and following up with an email right away the next day and wanting to help. I learnt something today and I will avoid this dealership like plague in the future. More

Following a negative experience at another Honda dealership, I contacted Brantford Honda and spoke with Franny regarding a couple Demo vehicles Brantford had listed for sale on the web page. I was promptly contacted by sales rep Calvin St. Germain. We communicated over text, email and telephone. All of my questions were answered quickly and honestly. When I attended the dealership to pick up my vehicle, everything was exactly as explained and as expected. From beginning to end, the transaction was completely transparent. I have found a car dealership and salesman that I will trust for future vehicle purchases. I highly recommend Calvin at Brantford Honda. It is worth your time and the drive!! More

From beginning to end, he responded promptly and thoroughly to our inquiries, was always courteous, and when he wasn’t sure about something he wasn’t afraid to say so and got right back to us once he had found the answer. Because we don’t live near Brantford, Vali got us some of our answers regarding the vehicle’s features by sitting in the vehicle while on the phone with us, and checking out each thing we asked about. When we came to the dealership for the test-drive, Vali was ultra-prepared for us: The vehicle was sparkling clean and sanitized (this was all during COVID), and Vali and gave us all the time we needed to ask questions and get to know the vehicle for ourselves. During the purchase phase, Vali made the options nice and clear for us regarding the bottom lines for various warranties/packages vs no warranties, trading in our old car vs not, etc.: he printed out a paper with each scenario for us to consider, making it easy for us to review the numbers. After deciding which scenario suited us the best, he honoured our decision without questioning or pressuring. On pick-up day, Vali was waiting for us with a big smile, and had our new-used vehicle ready with a big bow and a gift-basket inside. He even had the fuel tank filled up for us (which we think might have been included in one of the packages we chose not to purchase, but he gave us the full tank anyway). Buying a new vehicle was a big deal for us, and he helped to make the process smooth and joyful. Thank you, Vali! More
