The general service work was good. One area that does frustrate me as every time I service my vehicle the service department comes up with many areas that require attention. I have a 14 year old car wit frustrate me as every time I service my vehicle the service department comes up with many areas that require attention. I have a 14 year old car with 165,000 KM and if I would repair all of the items you disclose each time it would cost me thousands of dollars. My car just isn't worth that amount of fixing. Last time I was told my power steering pump leaks, my oil pan gasket leaks, tie rod ends need replacing, need new spark plugs etc. I have no oil on the floor in my garage floor. I took my vehicle to another reputable auto repair dealer in Vernon and specifically asked them to check my tie rods and they started they were fine. Who do I believe? I was told to replace spark plugs which would cost me over $400.00. By the time I add all these repairs up, the cost of repairs are more than the car is worth. I know buy a new or different car. I realize you do have to inform clients of areas that require attention but do some of them really have to be done especially with a car that is 14 years old. I do service the areas that are important ie brakes, transmission, power steering fluid change, flush cooling system etc. The way I look at a 14 year old car which has 165,000 KM on it is if it ain't broke why fix it. Soon the time will come to buy a new car. About 5 years ago when I had 100, 000 KM on my car, I took my vehicle to a Honda dealer in Palm Springs to have my oil changed and they came up with $2,600 worth of items that needed attention at that time. Engine mounts needed replacing, compliance bushings, valve adjustments etc. etc. Some of the items I have done with you folks but a lot of them have not been done and the car works and runs fine. I know you folks are in business to make money and provide the proper service to clients but sometimes it's a bit over the top. More

We had not bought a car from Bannister Honda in the past. A friend recommended that we go to the dealership and to definitely ask for Jason. He was very attentive and listened to what we were looking for A friend recommended that we go to the dealership and to definitely ask for Jason. He was very attentive and listened to what we were looking for. He was not a high pressure salesman and he definitely provided us with a lot of information regarding the vehicle we purchased, a Honda CR-V. Actually there was so much to learn about the vehicle that he gave us his phone number and told us that we could call him whenever we had any questions. I'm sure we'll be doing that. We would highly recommend that you pay Jason a visit if you are looking for a vehicle. More
