So far I have been pleased with service and quality of work. I´ve been twice and both times was greeted warmly. I waited at the dealership for my car and the work was done in a timely manner. I was impressed with the extras they do. The first time they washed my car, but since my second visit was in the winter they didn´t do a wash, just a vacuuming. The only negative I have is the cost of an oil change. I asked when I bought my car what Bannister charges for an oil change and was told $65. My bill was $80. A bit higher than I was expecting. But I was still happy with the service. More

Found my new car!! After much research and many test drives I found the car for me. I had emailed Bannister Honda late at night and Tracy took a chance and called me rig After much research and many test drives I found the car for me. I had emailed Bannister Honda late at night and Tracy took a chance and called me right away. We booked a test drive for the following day. Tracy set me up with Jason who was very understanding of my requirements and open to many many test drives. We had perfect All Wheel drive testing conditions with fresh snow and slippy roads on a test route through highway, backroads and steep hills. I left Bannister Honda to check out other dealerships and didn't find a similar experience elsewhere (Special mention and thanks to Dean at Hilltop Subaru, who was also amazing but short on staff at that time and I arrived 30 minutes to closing). I phoned Jason to say I would return the next day for negotiations and paperwork on the car that best suited my needs. The following day the negotiations went smoothly (I probably could have been a bit harder on them), everyone was reasonable and respectful. Once we had an agreed price point I met the finance guy Udai. From past experience Finance guys tend to try to sell you extra warrantees and treatments above and beyond the negotiated price. Udai was exceptionally smart in his technique. Usually I would say no to extra costs however Udai set up my financing options at the highest price point possible (with all the extras) and gave me the option to downgrade after a detailed informative and no-pressure conversation. Instead of trying to sell me on expensive services, his approach was to show me that I could already afford these extras without change to my budget. A brilliant sales tactic that I fully ended up agreeing to. I'm grateful now that I've gotten the extra services (undercoating, leather protector, 3M finish) and I fully believe they will help my vehicle for a long time. Udai also helped me find somewhere to live in Prince George as he studied there and Knew the where to look. He was not pushy, was understanding and managed to get the upgraded sale from me because of those qualities and his technique. He also helped me better understand my credit report. I was short on time and needed the car to commute to work in Prince George so the team at Bannister allowed me (but told me not to tell anyone, woops) to take my car and return it another date to get the treatments.
