From BAD to GREAT! My experience started of okay and got rockier as time went on. Not sure If I wasn't being taken seriously or what the problem was but payment amounts My experience started of okay and got rockier as time went on. Not sure If I wasn't being taken seriously or what the problem was but payment amounts (which were coming from Andy) I was being given were not adding up and in some cases would increase when they should have been decreasing. Turns out they were including a $2,000 life insurance policy - at least I was told it was 2,000, who knows how much it actually was - in the deal without asking me or telling me that it was included so that was inflating the purchase price and the payment amounts and I had to specifically ask for them to break down exactly how they were getting these payment amounts. This would be our third purchase from autogallery and I was seriously considering not going back but I wanted to test drive a Crosstrek to see if I would prefer it over the Impreza that I was looking at and due to the dealership being very busy on a Saturday, the usual salesman that I was dealing with was unable to help me so I was passed off to Joel, and I am very glad that happened. Joel and I spoke candidly and asked about how my experience had been thus far and I told him quite frankly all the negative things that had happened and he was determined to make up for that. After we got a set of numbers back on the Crosstrek from Andy again, which seemed to be legitimate this time. I took some time to think about it. After I left Joel took those numbers to Josh and explained what had happened and they were able to bring the price down a bit more to make the purchase that much more comfortable for me and my wife and we were able to include some extended warranty as well. After there was some confusion with the term of the payments they then ended up increasing the value of my trade-in to get the numbers back to where I was quoted originally, all thanks to Jessica. I owe a HUGE thank you to Joel, Jessica and Josh for all their hard work and help and for turning my experience with this dealership around. If not for them, this dealership would have definitely lost a repeat customer. Of the five times I went into the dealership to test drive and talk to sales staff, Andy never spoke to me once, not until I was literally walking out the door with the keys to my new Crosstrek in hand and all he said was congratulations and shook my hand, no apologies, no we really appreciate your business, nothing. I exchanged more words with the Owner of the dealership and Cord from finance who I never actually dealt with then I did with Andy and given that he is the General Sales Manager, to me that's pretty pathetic. More
